Has this been suggested before? Do they already exist? If not,how about T-Shirts printed with the mumsnet logo? It would raise money for mumsnet and advertise the site at the same time.
I'd wear one, and I'd make my kids wear them too

Hulababy · 06/05/2004 19:19

Cafepress is a US site so not possible to siplay prices in pounds, only dollars. This site is good for converting though should you need to.

The prices ont he new site look a bit expensive Justiner, compared to the US one. Is the quality much different?

allatsea · 06/05/2004 19:29

on the makemymegastore home page I particularly like the option for a t-shirt bearing the slogan
conceive - believe - achieve! How apt

Tissy · 06/05/2004 20:40

much better, but £9.99 for a pair of Mumsnet knickers? I'll be sticking to a badge and a mousemat, I think!

Kayleigh · 06/05/2004 21:27

Dh says he would like a t-shirt saying "Mumsnet Widower".

spacemonkey · 06/05/2004 21:33

i thought of mumsnet orphan for kids t shirts but it's maybe a bit sick ... ?

Kayleigh · 06/05/2004 21:35

spacemonkey, since when has that ever stopped us

Justine (mumsnet) · 07/05/2004 14:45

Take your point about prices guys - the weak $ is in favour of the US site but this may be a temporary phenomenon... The good news is we've negotiated a discount for mumsnetters of 10% with the UK site and that plus £ prices and quicker delivery plus we've heard very good things about their service means that we'll probably go with them. We are getting samples sent to check quality and art work is in production. So hopefully not too long to wait for your thongs now.

WideWebWitch · 07/05/2004 20:43

Oh fab, will buy something definitely.

champs · 07/05/2004 22:53

will have to use the thong as a hair band lmao

nikcola · 13/05/2004 12:41

how long till we get them

nikcola · 17/05/2004 02:28

???????????????????????????????????????

SoupDragon · 17/05/2004 07:49

Shouldn't there be some that say "virtual parent" given our male mumsnetters?

Rachel (mumsnet) · 17/05/2004 16:56

Hi Nickola - sorry we didn't get back to you over the weekend. We're in the final stages of getting the t'shirt design together and as soon as this is done we'll can get up and running. Will have a word with Justine (who's out filming today) and get back to you with a more specific timescale.

Cheers, Rachel
