I think she went because on the thread with peacedove she had a post deleted by MN Towers, but worse (maybe slightly less sweary) posts were left. I agree with sobernow, it was on a point of principle, not just some random row.

AFAIK - I wasn't here at the time - posts which called her racist were left on the thread but hers in response (which were pretty sweary, but then she was very angry) were removed.

If the "racist" ones, or the whole thread, had been pulled she would have been OK.

It was nanneh - she called Aloa a racist, without justification IMO. Aloha retaliated, and MNHQ deleted Aloha's post because it contained offensive language. They allowed nanneh's accusation of racism to remain, however, which made it look as though Aloha had made racist remarks.

I would have left in her position too - it was pretty appalling.

It was definitely on the peacedove thread, but maybe someone else was involved. I thought it was peacdove who called her racist, I must say.

nanneh called me a fascist a couple of days later. The woman was a loon.

I don't think it was PD (and goodness knows I have had enough spats with him) it was a woman poster IIRC, who accused Aloha of being racist. One of her posts was deleted (for swearing) and with the accusation that left it looking (eroniously IMHO) as if aloha had been racist.

I was expecting PD to pop up when the 9-11 guy was sentenced...

peacedove is unfailingly polite, I've always found.
