Get yourself into the iTunes store, search for Mumsnet and it will appear before your very eyes. It is not a mirage.

can'tsleep the my topics function is there - when on a topic, click the + sign to add it, then go to 'more' and you'll see the my topics option, where the topic you've added should show.

I agree fraktious I only have a limited amount of time before DS realises my focus is shifted from his japes, so need to be able to see which threads to prioritise!!

have downloaded from itunes but it isn't working - says loading then verifying your connection then goes back to home screen on the phone - what have I done wrong???

willalalali, I had that problem - I upsated my iPod and all was hunky dory.

I can't log in. it just sits on the log in screen - have typed in username and password and it doesn't go anywhere from there.

I have an Iphone 3, dowloaded successfully from AppStore but my app closes at "verifying connection" stage, being patient and waiting for the tech guys to sort it

well am guessing that either it's just a shite app or doesn't work with voiceover, either way I can't get past the log in screen so have given it a crap review.

would recommend to hq though whether a paid app could be in the future for those users who don't want ads? so there could be mumsnet free with ads and mumsnet for 59p or whatever to be ad-free.

I personally won't be using it though unless you can sort it out. not good enough, sorry.

Can we customise it like we can on the normal talk page? i.e colour coded?

Just further to my message earlier about IP addresses. If you are going to send us the IP address, it needs to be the one of the phone, not your home computer. It might be the same or it might not, depending on how you are connected up. So, to help us track down the crash problem, and if you have time, could someone affected do this:

Go to the app and let it crash
Immediately open safari and go to whatismyipaddress.com and copy / paste the ip address it displays into an email to [email protected].

Sorry, I appreciate this is fiddly, but if you have time it might help.

it hasn't crashed - it opens up the app, sits on the log in screen, I type in username/password, hit "done" and it doesn't do anything.

Right, I know why the threads i'm on aren't appearing as threads I'm on. I post on my post natal threads more than any other, but i have no interest in seeing other post natal threads in active convos, so I've had the topic 'excluded' since you introduced the option. You have set the iphone app to therefore exclude my post natal threads from those that I'm on! Can you sort that out asap please, as I don't want to include all post natal threads, esp when you haven't given the option to hide them individually!

Did I read somewhere that this app is only for the iphone 4? I have a 3GS. Is that why I can't access it?

no it should be fine as long as you have iOS 4 on your 3gs.

Right I'm on it now. And have to say that overall i like it v much.

Now i've only read the first two pages of this thread so apologies if this has been said but here's my tuppence worth:

1. Can we have the option to remove pages please? As there are only options for 'more' and 'previous' on a thread it seems a bit pointless as you can't go to page 3 or whatever. I like my threads pageless!

1. Can we change the colours in settings please? The purple is actually making my eyes hurt

Ok since I posted I have a new issue. After my post the thread started reading back to front (ie my post was first instead of the actual first post of the thread). I checked settings and I'd not changed anything!

Oh and if you can move the annoying ad to top of the page that would be better for scrolling through threads without going cross-eyed.

if it's because of voiceover (and I won't know that until dh gets home) then your app is not accessible which tbh is a poor show.

As well as all the other things that have been said can we have the option to go straight to last post? When I view MN on Safari I hit "add message" as a quick way of getting to the end and the bar at top of screen to whizz back up to first post. I don't want to have to flip the thread but can't navigate as easily on here.

Loving the app. Would be great if you could add a favourites folder for the topics you visit most often. Maybe for the next version??

It seems to work so far but is there an easy way to get to the end of a long thread?
And landscape would be good.
