Looks like someone has found the posts regarding under-13s using FaceBook and decided to report

to the StopBadware.org service. Although the idea is not a bad one, the service is used by Google to 'alert' (like 'scare the hell') people that a site may infect their PC, and does its utmost to stop the user from visiting.

Happened also to a client of mine (photographer with his own site) and lost him some visitors and potential work.

FlightoftheCrimbleTree if you are 100% no one tried to blame DP anywhere on MN (make sure you have checked every thread) then feel free to tell BlathIceSkate she is lying. I never saw it myself so there's no point in telling me.

Just to get my big wooden spoon out, I'm pretty sure I saw it implied on another thread that DP could have been behind it...........obviously she wasn't but I'm sure some of us were thinking it.

Onagar, you're not making much sense. I know what the posts in question said (though they have now been deleted along with the entire thread they were on) and am not prepared to enter into an argument about it or tell anyone they are lying, because they are not as far as I can see.

Suggestion does not equal accusation. The word coincidence was mentioned at a point when nobody knew what was going on.

Sorry, Silverymoon - just read your post, you're right; the words 'implied' and 'could have been' are the essence of it.

And the fact some of us were thinking it is IMO fairly reasonable given her verbal assault on MN the previous day.

Anyway, enough said, I still have no idea what's going on, but I hope it is sorted out soon.

Flight Yes, I agree. It did seem a bit convenient that she was banned and then this happened, but hey, we know now that it had something to do with an advert and MNHQ are onto it.
