I have just spoken to one of the supervisors from B&Q on line....the mckinley and ben nevis are due to be replenished in 7 days time for new orders.

This is what they have told me.....

"It is impossible to pay up front to reserve an item....so just keep checking the site early every morning and hopefully you'll get one. Next Tuesday is the date showing for stock replenishment....website will be updated at 6.30am."

Dont forget to set your alarms!

We have been watching the website too to see if they come back in stock, but went to our local B&Q warehouse to see if we could order one there. We had a look at the kiddie stuff for playing and found quite a few bargains!
We got this wooden double swing for the reduced price of £24.26
We got this covered sandpit for the reduced price of £12.25
We got this water slide for the reduced price of £19.60.
There was other stuff too, but nothing like the big climbing frames-the system would not let us order one. The three things we got cost just over £50, not bad for a few hours peace and it keeps them off the playstations etc.

and after you have bought your climbing frames remember to reset your alarms for 12 noon Wednesday to book your theatre tickets. Remember, Kidsweek, kids go free.

Anyone else got theirs yet? Just had a call from the delivery co telling me both the items I ordered and were meant to be arriving tomorrow are out of stock so they wont be coming .
Just spent 20mins on the phone to "customer relations" who assured me I should be getting them in 10 to 14 days time. Must say I don't feel v confident I will get anything atall at the moment .

I got the Ben Nevis too.
I originally ordered the castle one thinking it looked the smallest, but it was actually wider than the Ben Nevis & we don't have a huge garden, so i cancelled the original order & ordered a Ben Nevis instead!

Today I (once again) gave my credit card details to B&Q over the phone as they phoned to say the Ben Nevis they'd reserved for me after the original cock up was back in stick. Who knows if it will actually arrive!!

I did manage to get them to refund the £10 delivery charge by telling them it wasn't charged on my original order.

Well I don't know what yesterday's fiasco was all about, but they just turned up and delivered my junior climbing frame and multi gym. I'm well chuffed!!!!
Now just need to get them built before DSs birthday next weekend .

They still havent charged my card. i have just phoned up 3 times, to try and figure out whats happening. they cant guarentee i will get the playcentres now. pretty peed off as have told my kids about it, and it was going to be used as part of dd2 birthday present (1st sept). i am going to have two very disappointed kids. i cant afford anything of similar size anywhere else. they better deliver it as i am very angry and peed off right now.
