Instead of Clarks giving me back DD's very uncomfortable sandals back in a box they gave me a 2nd pair of the same trainers just in one width size smaller. Both widths fitted but the G looked most comfy.

What would you do?

I bought a few things in John Lewis on Sat and was only charged for 3 out of 4 items - I noticed and told the salesman - he was very pleased and said "you've jsut done your good deed for the day".

I must admit it made me feel good. Mind you it was only £3.99

Oooow I forgot all about this thread, you've all been busy without me. The answer is she's had them on so they now can't go back, decision was out of my hands.

On a similar vein, went to a boot sale the other day as my DS is going skiing with school for the first time during New Year so I was looking for some gear for him. Found a nice ski suit but it was too big for him, what I did notice about it was it had £10 sticking out the top pocket so being the good citizen I am I told the seller, she was sooooo grateful as she emptied £50 and a tampon out of the pockets!
