bollocks.

i would just buy another nomad as it has served me awfully well, but dd2 is a total plaster and i'm sure would prefer a front-facing.

so, cheap front-facings that aren't naff? can anyone help? or is it possible to buy these things second-hand and not get totally ripped off?

thanks, crazy pram ladies.

dammmit misdee, your links aren't working for me and I want to see what Aitch is OMGing at!!!

I just sold a Mothercare Maui on ebay which is the Hauck infinity in different livery. They sell pretty cheaply

Was just thinking I can't believe your DD is nearly a year old already Aitch, but my little man is 9months old next week so that figures!

Oh, and I have a great BLWing pic on my profile involving some brocolli!!

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:03

uk posted.

errr £99 with both sets of covers

with just the blue £65

or chassis on its own for £50.

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:03

i got embaressed lacks so removed the pics, will add them back now for a moment

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:08

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:09

and a fab blw pic as a bonus

AitchTwoOh · 24/07/2009 23:10

well actually, so as to give you a functioning buggy, how much for the covers? (and just how FREAKY are the grass ones?)

OP posts:
misdee · 24/07/2009 23:11

i dont need it aitch.

it just collecting dust atm.

soph prefers my back as her mode of transport

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2009 23:14

interesting buggy covers misdee! I bet that turns heads

soph is looking very cute

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:15

is it just the fabrics you need?

blue ones i can do for £35

or grass for £50

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2009 23:18

oh, and lol at the oompa loompa effect after eating spagbol . I have a great pic of bumble with a pile of spaghetti on his head! he doesn't do spaghetti and just gets really cross and upset with it.

misdee · 24/07/2009 23:23

lol@the broccolli.

soph gets very excited by broccoli

AitchTwoOh · 24/07/2009 23:25

let me go and have a look at the buggy (it's out in the car). i have a funny feeling that one of the buttons on the chassis has bust. can i get back to you tomorrow, please?

and do people laugh at the grass ones?

OP posts:
misdee · 24/07/2009 23:27

if people laughed at the grass ones i'd just give them a stare.

but the bloue ones would fit better. the grass ones are still tight around the footrest, meaning it tends to flip up slightly.

AitchTwoOh · 24/07/2009 23:28

lovely blw pics btw, dd2 is still pretty orange from pasta tonight. she likes broccoli but her current obsession is frozen peas.

very jealous of your bfing photo, lacka. that is beautiful.

OP posts:
misdee · 24/07/2009 23:29

people tends to stare more when we're out like this especially if i dont wrap her right lol

AitchTwoOh · 24/07/2009 23:36

you really do have four beautiful girls, misdee.

OP posts:
misdee · 24/07/2009 23:37

thank you.

they are sweet behind bars as well

pebbles79 · 24/07/2009 23:40

The Infinity with the black/white flowers near you is mine . Infinity's are great prams - I've never had a pram for longer than a few months yet that one has lasted a year and a half (although has always been one of at least 3 prams so had minimal use, lol).

AitchTwoOh · 24/07/2009 23:45

it is nice, pebble, i really like the fabric... but at £35 misdee's gonna be hard to beat. do you know what your infinity is likely to go for? i have a jane buggy board you see so this is also a consideration.

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 24/07/2009 23:48

Hoping it goes for a half decent price but have no idea what it's worth. The custom stuff cost me a fortune and it's currently got 31 watchers!!!

mamadiva · 25/07/2009 10:51

How about the Bebecar Vector? They go cheap on Ebay, fold with seat on, fair sized swivel wheels and reversible seat.

I love the Grass covers, there is a lady nearby me who has a slalom with them on and everytime I see her in town I have to stare admiringly at it!

Does turn heads right enough

misdee · 26/07/2009 12:02

so aitch...

AitchTwoOh · 26/07/2009 16:56

i phoned the place i bought it from, to see if i could replace the button on the chassis, and they said they thought possibly not because of where it is. so i'm going to phone the insurance co again (cos i've remembered we've lost our no claims anyway) and see what they say. if not, i think we'll need both chassis and covers... pita.

misdee · 26/07/2009 18:08

well, its all up for sale, so let me know
