Morning all.
What a morning. Slept in and then had to leap out of bed and organise packed lunch, bath and hairwashing for DDs [they had had Hedrin on overnight through necessity ick!] Shower myself and get us all dressed and out of the house. Just sitting down now with a cuppa and some breakfast.

claret1980 · 16/07/2009 10:18

Sounds like me on any other day FMTD. Today I was organised, trust me to be organised on the last day of term!

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/07/2009 10:59

The build up to the end of term is manic!

scattykatty · 16/07/2009 11:09

Well I've cracked and bought the Zapp £88 brand new in Iron can't be bad right? I used about 5 different offers to get it down to that from £150 so I'm actually quite pleased with myself

So Nicola, what is this new buggy you've won but not paid for? A new Volo or a different Mac?

5inthebed · 16/07/2009 11:41

HMG, I have a few of those knocking about. If you CAT me your addrss, I'll post them.

For those who PP'ed me for items, they have been posted today

SK, I love the Iron Zapp £88 is a great price as well!

I hate end of term, I've had loads of teachers to buy for this year, spent a fortune! I've had DS1's 2 teachers and ds2's 3 teachers from SN school, 2 teachers from MS school, his 1:1 at MS school and the two transport people! I know I shouldn't have to buy everyone, but I'm just too soft sometimes.

I don't know why you don't just get that Zapp off ebay that's in your area 5in.... Looks good to me Can't wait til mine arrives on Tuesday, is it worth getting the basket? I've heard it literally only fits the raincover it

Stokke/Kiddicare are driving me crazy with the Tripp Trapp, the metal bar doesn't fit properly and the DH who is an engineer in the army has tried and can't get it to fit and they STILL think it's just in my head! I just want the DS to be able to sit in his new chair without fear that it will suddendly give way... is that too much to ask!!!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/07/2009 13:16

Thanks 5in

nicolamumof3 · 16/07/2009 13:47

Haha I'd kill for a nice holiday I think DH hopes the Zapp will take my mind off it... we'll see!

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/07/2009 18:45

Just in case Nicola's Volo goes to someone else, does anyone have a cheapy buggy for me to give Grandma when she has DDs next week.

5inthebed · 16/07/2009 19:15

Sorry Dunoon, don't have one.

We're going to the lake district mon-fri next week, not exactly a glam holiday, but I'm quite excited. First holiday in 4 years!

Spa sounds sooooo good, my MIL treated me to a manicure when I last stayed with them, it was so nice to actually have half decent nails just for a few days before I caught them in one of DS's toys and chipped half unloading the dishwasher!

Only 3 days til my Zapp comes

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/07/2009 22:44

Countdown!

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/07/2009 22:47

Isn't this fabulous. Ilove it.

claret1980 · 16/07/2009 22:48

5in where about in the lakes are you going?
If you get chance, go to the wild animal park in Dalton in Furness. Kids will love it! Our kids love to go there as well. If you take an asda receipt each (adult) to the gate you can get in for £6 each. Does that make sense?

I have finally booked the hotel for visiting Chester zoo. The all you can eat breakie in the morning swayed it for dh.

If I don't get on tomorrow, NICOLA have a great day on Saturday. All the best and can't wait to see the pictures!

maxybrown · 16/07/2009 22:54

dunoon that is a superdreamer!!! They are FAB. I would like one for Ds but they did a nice check in it and would like that one. Have a pic of it somewhere....
