I think all the bloomin maclarens look the same apart from XT/XLR lol!!

I have bought from preloved lots of times, and sold on there too.

People have paid me with Pp and bank transfers no problem. If it was closer would not be a problem getting it for you, sorry

BexieID · 14/07/2009 13:08

Saw a double BJCM today as well, looked alright.

nicolamumof3 · 14/07/2009 13:08

nicolamumof3 · 14/07/2009 13:10

well differences are...

volo, no recline,
triumph, slight recline by strap method on back of seat.
quest same recline method as xt/xlr has legrest pocket on back of hood
xt bigger seat, bigger wheels, tilting hood
xlr even bigger seat

maxybrown · 14/07/2009 13:12

Well I've been reading how lovely you all are to your buggies and was thinking how I've fallen out of love with mine as they had got all used looking! So I've just finally put the replacement chassis Bugaboo sent me on the Cameleon and fitted the replacement white buttons so that the seat actually moves position again!
Woo hoo cleaned the whole thing and obviously with a whole new chassis it's makes it look like a new buggy again... makes me all nostalgic for when I got it home from the shop and DS was about to be born!

Felt guily about the poor XLR so gave that a full on scrubbing and it actually looks nice again, put the seat cover in the wash for the 1st time ever since I bought it last June

I think that's the problem when you buy new buggies they're all perfect and they can never stay perfect if you actually use them so as soon as they get dirty or a scratch they never feel as nice to me. Now the Bugaboo actually looks brand new I'll have to try and keep it looking like that...

scattykatty · 14/07/2009 18:02

PS, can you get new handles for a Maclaren XLR? Mine are looking pretty scuffed now after flights back and forth from Germany when we were there and being shoved by the not so careful DH into the car etc! Might do something about it now I'm in the buggy loving mood

nicolamumof3 · 14/07/2009 18:03

i wash my mac covers every week!! at least.

im sure i have ocd!

scattykatty · 14/07/2009 18:12

OMG I feel bad! I think I have this obsession with bobbling, I can't bear to actually out my Bugaboo covers in the wash in case they bobble I sponge wash them both every week but they've never been in the machine Oh the shame of it!

Do you have an XLR too? I wonder if there are any other seat covers (they are the covers you mean right?) the brown/blue combo is seriously dull.

nicolamumof3 · 14/07/2009 18:18

i hated my xlr it was too big for a stroller. i had the tan/crimson covers too put preferred the brown.

i have a quest now.

scattykatty · 14/07/2009 18:40

Yeah tis massive, I bought it for a flight back to the UK when we were in Germany as you really can't take cameleon's on flights! The DS was just under 6 months and being the pathetic, paranoid FTM I bought the XLR as it is from birth, had totally flat recline and seemed as much like a 'proper' rather than umbrella fold buggy as I could find.

maxybrown · 14/07/2009 18:44

i love my xlr, anything else always seems small and flimsy, but then I'm not a big fan of strollers so got biggest one I could

scattykatty · 14/07/2009 18:50

Hahaha I know what you mean it hardly feels like a stroller at all! That's why I've been looking at the Zapp

DH says who on earth starts off with a Cameleon, then gets a XLR and then a Zapp he says I'm working down the buggy food chain! He thinks I'll be after one of those £20 ones from Mothercare next that actually look just like the DS's toy one

nicolamumof3 · 14/07/2009 18:55

had my dress fitting, its soooooo gorgeous, hanging upstairs can't wait to wear it!

meanwhile dp having meeting at work will find out if he is keeping his job or not!

maxybrown · 14/07/2009 19:18

Bummer about DP job
