Pushchair shed July part 1 - is there such a thing as a perfect pram?

1000 replies

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 10:08

Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

sweetkitty · 05/07/2009 22:57

she is taking the p a bit

it's not like it's something at £10 you are buying either

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 22:57

Shes ignoring me now and wont send invoice without the £15 postage on so I can't pay

And haven't got her adress

Looks like I haven't got a frog

what a weirdo!

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 23:02

She is silly as you can still leave her negative feedback though.

carrielou2007 · 05/07/2009 23:05

What a t*t she is being?? But why?? Surely if she met you ok it may cost her a fiver say in petrol which you could pay her and if you pay her in cash anyway it will save her on pp fees?

I asked a cam seller about if I could arrange my own courier as she was charging 39.99 and she replied that no, it was costing her 22.49 and she was adding the rest to cover her fees. When I said she could not do this she said don't bid then. I forwarded that email to ebay whilst I reported it (can you tell I was a prefect??!!)

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:06

I might Maxy, Ive only ever left a neg once before,

but I really don't see her problem!? She wanted collection, I told her I would collect as I had a lift and pay via PP,

then she sends cancel transaction thing?!

Well I've declined it!

JigglyPiggy · 05/07/2009 23:10

what is up with some people?!

when i collected my frog last week seller was fab and met me at the train station as had both DC in tow.

carrielou - good to hear you got your denim cam. There was a frog listing earlier with £40 postage and someone asked if they could colect seller said yes but im charging you £15 to cover my fees

sweetkitty · 05/07/2009 23:13

Don't understand that fees thing surely that what you cost in when you set the starting price, it's to get round ebay fees but still a rip off

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:15

Yes kitty if i want £20 for something and fees come up as £2, ill sell for £22 to cover fees then!

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:25

Yes LG&T swapsie!

Just been looking online and I think they will fit

Are you keeping the spotty liner?

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:37

JUST PAID FOR STOOOOPID £15 COURRIER

pebbles79 · 05/07/2009 23:42

Personally I probably wouldn't meet someone either when handing over a pushchair for that amount of money. I've got 3 children and it would be very awkward for me having to do it, if I put something on ebay for collection only then that's what I'd expect.

JigglyPiggy · 05/07/2009 23:46

she has defo earnt at least a neutral feedback! why would you want to go to the trouble of packing for a courier instead of meeting halfway?!!

just focus on those lovely pink accessories on your nice black frog

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:51

Yes but pebbles, i then told her i would collect from her house and paypal her and she went funny again and sent me a cancel transcation thing?!

Disenchanted3 · 05/07/2009 23:58

Right off to bed!

Night night!! xx

JigglyPiggy · 05/07/2009 23:58

I can understand what you are saying pebbles but i think this person is being unhelpful.

would'nt be surprised if she books £8 courier and is pocketing the difference.

I am disliking ebay more and more these days. if its not people wanting something for nothing its those wanting their fees covered

pebbles79 · 06/07/2009 00:05

I don't understand why she would want to cancel when you've said you'll collect but I think it would be unfair to leave anything other than a positive if the item is as described. She's probably only willing to pack for a courier to avoid a negative which I think is wrong and it's why the feedback system shouldn't have changed. I prefer to use my own courier too because the guy knows me and knows what times I'm in and what times to avoid. I'm just saying that if she wanted collection only then there's obviously a reason for it or else she would have offered courier collection.

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 06/07/2009 06:09

MOrning! I am getting my BJCM this morning - very excited. Not going to get a footmuff but will keep an eyet out for a second hand buggysnuggle tha goes for winter as I like them. Also on look out for (cheap) BJCM carrycot and child tray.

That ebay user does sound a little snotty but as pebbles said if the ebay auction said collection only then maybe she has a reason for that. Hope it all works out. Are fees how much you have to pay ebay to list your item?

happybunny1981 · 06/07/2009 07:01

I had gone to bed .That's why no response to your email.

happybunny1981 · 06/07/2009 07:11

Next time ask a question on ebay before you buy.i cant deliver as i dont drive either.courier is £15 as i send with dhl an due to the item being £149.99 i add the insurance on to.i went to bed hence why i couldnt answer your email
it was not collection only
also i dont trade out of ebay like you asked.not how ebay works
i will not be threatened by your feedback remark.i have sent all these logs to ebay and will also be sending it to my solicitor.
i am a happy bunny apart from when i am being slated

happybunny1981 · 06/07/2009 07:18

hi
i am not pocketing the rest as the £8.04 dhl charge isnt insured for anything over £50 when the pram is £149.99 .Pepples79-
i do feel threatend by her feedback .i cant deliver as dont drive an hubby away .the lady should not have bought without asking these questions 1st.i am willing to pack
didnt get email as i had gone to bed
i was told of another ebay what was being written about me an i feel this unfair
Also i am not being a t*t !!!!!!
i am not being snotty .
people shouldnt judge of one person comments

happybunny1981 · 06/07/2009 07:23

I am not a wierdo! also yes i have refunded your paypal .i am not being slated.not willing to trade with you DISENCHANTED3

happybunny1981 · 06/07/2009 07:29
Smile
nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 07:33

Morning all! seems i missed all the excitement whilst off ill in bed!!

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 06/07/2009 07:36

Actually you were being snotty by sending the transaction cancel without you both trying to sort it out first. However you seem to prefer reacting to things with a heavy hand if you are sending things to a soliciter. Also using a smilie after all that is EXTREMELY passive-aggressive.

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 06/07/2009 07:38

Hope you are feeling better nicola.
