I was like that with my quest, i listed it on e-bay got a good offer but then went all wibbly about selling and took it off again. Now ive decided i definatly want to sell it so put it back on but no decent offers yet

buggylovinmummy · 13/06/2009 08:59

Ok just let me know when youve decided. Im actually thinking if i get a good enough price for my quest that i may get a new one in red/cream. Still let me know just incase i dont.

buggylovinmummy · 13/06/2009 09:00

Hope the weather stays good today so i can take the kids to the school fete

5inthebed · 13/06/2009 09:04

Well if you sell your Quest and want to get a new one, don't wait for me, as I am wibbling anyway. Like I said, I want to see what I can do with the gecko first. Plus I think a brand new pram is the best thing! I saw the red/cream ones in John Lewis, but didn't really like the colour tbh.

Just took the BJCM off Ebay. I bet I get bombarded with people asking if it is still for sale. I had loads of people asking questions, even if I'd post to Russia and Iceland!

I am off to sainsbury's too, soon and then the school fete.
Meant to be nice here today.

buggylovinmummy · 13/06/2009 09:36

Does the red/cream not look as nice in the flesh as it does online?

I must admit i do love a brand new pram, i like the new smell they have

5inthebed · 13/06/2009 09:40

The cream looks quite dirty. Not as nice in the flesh. But thats not to say you wouldn't like it. Do you have a John Lewis near you?

Morning!

Not too bad here today, hopefully a bit of sunshine later.

5inthebed no you have to take the seat off the gecko to fold. You press buttons in on the side of the seat, tip the seat so it is flat and lift offf. Not totally sure how to do it as on a cam you take the seat off with the bumper bar but there isn't one on the gecko. Then fold up the chasis. It is easy though.

buggylovinmummy · 13/06/2009 09:46

No i dont think theres anywhere local that stocks them. Thats the only thing im worried about is that it will get dirty really easily and then look horrible. I quite like the look of the orange/grey ones as well but im not sure if they may not be as nice in the flesh either. Mmmm decisions decisions.

Actually i think there might be a john lewis about a 40 minute drive away but its not a very big one so not sure if they stock pushchairs. Will have to have a look online and see if they do.

buggylovinmummy · 13/06/2009 09:49

Just checked and my nearest one is about an hour and a half drive

nicolamumof3 · 13/06/2009 11:09

claret1980 · 13/06/2009 11:33

Got an offer off ebay for Vigour, just waiting for them to get back to me.

nicolamumof3 · 13/06/2009 16:37

just got in, it is sooooo hot out! luka lost his comforter, tate wet himself, oh the joys!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/06/2009 17:05

lol Nicola! It's fab isn't it.
We went to the fete and got roasted. DDs hysterical running all over the place demanding money, cakes, goes on the bouncy castle........
All over-tired and we had to stay for ages as DD1 was in the final event which was running very late.
And I won nothing in the raffle or the tombola!

carrielou2007 · 13/06/2009 17:16

We went for a lovely walk to the park then as it was so hot to McD which is about 2 miles away for a Mcflurry. Dd kept zipping about so excited about icecream and they had flaming wll run out! She was really really upset (me too!)

Got home and her dad came over with new mattress for new big girls bed. There is a place that sells them to all the local bed shops so got one for 30 pounds but he told me this about 5 times. Well I bought the bed base, bedding, pillows, duvet and every other bloody thing dd has ever had so no I'm not giving the flaming thirty quid!!! (and breath - rant over)

nicolamumof3 · 13/06/2009 17:35

oh carrie, and you going to go through this all again!! you must be mad, or he better just get used to it eh?!

t is very warm here, just made boys fingers and new potatoes they ate that in garden so my floors are still clean yay!!

pebbles79 · 13/06/2009 18:08

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/06/2009 18:20

Is it because they don't have spokes?
Could it be a really old model?

pebbles79 · 13/06/2009 18:35

Yep, because it doesn't have spokes. I've never seen one like that.

Divatheshopaholic · 13/06/2009 18:38
