Seller of Infinity has taken it off BIN and is now Auction only has said he will post though, need to think of a price I will go to and stop at that.

pebbles79 · 20/06/2009 14:20

They've said in the questions at the bottom that they want £50 for it, have you asked if they'd end the auction for you if you were to give them £50 + postage?

sweetkitty · 20/06/2009 14:50

Pebbles - yes have sent e-mail saying I will pay £50 plus P&P for it, no response yet

pebbles79 · 20/06/2009 14:55

Do you live close by to me? Just that I have a 10% off code from ebay. Probably not worth it for the sake of a fiver though as it would need to be sent to me for you to pick up.

sweetkitty · 20/06/2009 15:03

I'm in Motherwell so would probably cost £5 in petrol to get to you anyway lol thanks anyway

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 17:40

Well I wheeled my Infinity round sainsbury's just now and it's great!
Runs very smoothly and so easy to push. DD3 was facing and we could hold conversations. At points she had one leg up on each side of the handle bar which is a little disconcerting!
The seat unit is quite low to the ground but I liked the feel of that. Handle is lowish too-105 max I think.
Nice

nicolamumof3 · 20/06/2009 17:45

oh glad you like it dunoon! we are just off to sainsburys in a minute ourselves. just waiting for boys to finish tea. and they need to do their fathers day cards before dadd gets home! bought them weeks ago but forgot to get them to write in them.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 17:48

I got DP pyjamas from Sainsbury's at DD2's suggestion for father's day.
The saturday crowd in sainsburys are ferocious! So many grumpy people in the fruit and veg aisles.

Disenchanted3 · 20/06/2009 17:50

Ive completely forgotten about fathers day

first time ever though, so DH can forgive, considering he forgets mothersday, my birthday & anniversarys EVERY year

Am very excited for first wheels coming I sooooo hope i love it.

went to ikea and got the kids bunk beds, matresses, lights, rug, storage etc ...

got to get paint and new carpet next,

i hate painting though.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 17:55

Oh Dis excitement all round at your place then!
I am building up my funds again to get DD1's loft bed.
DDs 2and 3 need their room done up. DD2 will get DD1's old raised, mid-height bed, the flooring is coming up and laminate going down and it needs painting too.
But don't hold your breath!

sweetkitty · 20/06/2009 17:57

FMTD - glad you liked the Infinity

Dis - oh how exciting, we got our DDs bunk beds a few months ago and they loved them especially as they got to chose their own duvet covers. I have just ordered new bed linen and curtains for our room, very grown up black and white, need to paint the walls too and throw out the yuck carpet in the en-suite and get tiles, why do people put carpets in bathrooms??? I think your First Wheels will be lovely too

Disenchanted3 · 20/06/2009 18:01

I know am very excited,

ended up getting a different bunk, a mydal or spmething as it was on sale for £89!

Am having good luck lately ... maybe I should play the lottery this week??

Ooooh I can imagine my Garage full of buggies if that happened

Id buy you all the buggy of your choice! Ha!

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 18:08

Dis you are on!

And I'll do the same.

Knickers0nMaHead · 20/06/2009 18:15

fmtd, do you rate the infinity then? Was hoping to get a couple for hols. Cant believe ive left it so late to get a buggy!

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 18:15

Anyone on here got a spare bumper bar for an Infinity knocking about?

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 18:17

Infinity for hols?
It's not exactly compact or light to take away.
But it is a nice pram.
What are your criteria?

Knickers0nMaHead · 20/06/2009 18:28

Something thats rearfacing

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 18:35

Ah I see!
Well it does that.

It is comfy for DD who is 2.8yrs. Shopping basket is decent. As I say DDis low down and handle bar is relatively low even at highest.
Compared to Vigour for insatnce it is all much lower.
DD is more balanced in rear facing in this one though. Vigour felt like it might tip with her facing me.
Hood is ok but as I discovered today it has nothing keeping it in place at the back except some elastication- no poppers or anything so that DD who is fiddling about with everything discovered she could pull it right over and in front of her. Hmm not amusing after the 10th time.
Quite some movement in the chassis and handle which personally I find annoying. Vigour was very sturdy feeling and stiff iyswim.

How is that?

Knickers0nMaHead · 20/06/2009 18:40

Great, thank you.

Dont suppose you know if there is a weight limit for pushchairs on a plane is there?

What colour did yoyu get?

nicolamumof3 · 20/06/2009 18:53

knickers where are you going on hols and for how long? i wouldn't worry about rear facing too much if its just for a couple of weeks? you will have your hands full at airport without a bulky pushchair or two! i like the mac xt on hols because of the tilting hood you don't need a seperate sunshade, although shade a babe would be good for your ds.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/06/2009 19:45

I got lime. I love lime.
Would have liked a black one but lime is fine.

nicolamumof3 · 20/06/2009 20:09

lime sounds good dunoon, would you be able to take a pic of your dd3 in so i can get an idea? thanks x
