Just had the health visitor out, they keep an eye on Zoey's weight now and again because she's so tiny. I was expecting a fight TBH as I hate when they go and on when I know she's healthy and ahead of herself as far as development goes.

Anyway at the grand old age of 17 months my DD is a teeny 16lb 2oz LMAO!! They've said they're not worried, they're catching up on the fact that breastfed babies can vary alot on the charts (not that Zoey's even on the chart, lol)

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:11

Ah bless thats tiny my ds weighed that at about 3-4 months LOL

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:13

He was the opposite, the health visitor kept moaning at me that he was too fat!!

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 14:19

Think my DS1 weighed that at about 4 months too, lol - just show's how different they can be. He's almost 7 now and really skinny.

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:22

my ds is nearly 3 and hes not fat now!! once he started moving around he lost all the weight.

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:30

WAHOO my BJCM is ordered and should be here tomorrow, hope my neighbours home to take it as im on a course all day if not will have to wait for it to be re-delivered

Im very excited

nicolamumof3 · 16/06/2009 14:34

oooh fabby, can't wait to hear your verdict and lots of piccies. i can't decide what to get next if anything!! i've got my nipper and my maclaren on way, should just transfer paypal funds for wedding really.

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:44

I could of spent the money on something else really but it will probably be my last buggy purchase for ds as hes nearly 3, i think i said that about my quest though

I got £90 for my quest in the end so was quite pleased with that, sold a few clothes on e-bay and had to add a little bit of cash to get the BJCM but dp doesnt need to know that

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 14:45

Need to get a raincover but have to get some more funds first, hopefully the sun will shine until then LOL

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/06/2009 14:59

Hello.
Quiet afternoon here as DD2 has a friend over from nursery. They are watching the dreaded Baby Bratz DVD.

Clouded over-hope its not going to rain as I have two loads of washing out.

lillypie · 16/06/2009 15:18

I've been waiting in all day for a friend who hasn't turned up and hasn't phoned I hope she's ok!!

On a happier note I managed to sell that awful Hauck buggy

nicolamumof3 · 16/06/2009 16:29

sooooooo tired. back home now making tea for boys then have ironing to do. i really do hope i don'thave to wait til the end of next week for my quest...

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 16:36

We're getting a takeaway tonight - not really in the mood for cooking. DS1 seems fine now but DD still not herself and was sick all over her cot earlier . She's not moaning though which is good .

DH came home and took my ebay stuff to the post office so that's good, something less to worry about tomorrow. I have an itch to buy something, just don't know what, lol!

nicolamumof3 · 16/06/2009 16:45

me too pebbles! think im just bored tho!!

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 16:55

I'm just bored too, don't want to buy a new pram - just a pram something, lol! Want a Bugaboo cup holder but refuse to pay £16 off ebay for it!

5inthebed · 16/06/2009 17:00

BLM, I bought this raincover, and it has worked great. None on Ebay at the moment though. I think this one would work as well, plus it has a zip on like the BJCM ones. I might actually get myself this one.

Bug basket got posted today, so hopefully will be here tomorrow!

Does anyone know if the Cam hood material fits on the Gecko hood rods?

OP posts:
5inthebed · 16/06/2009 17:02

Pebbles, I'm the same. I want some clips for the gecko, but they are £20!

I have ordered a liner from Snunkie though

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 17:07

Thanks 5in ive put that one in my watching, think i,ll have to get one really or with him being older i could just make him hold an umbrella over himself

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 17:08

But then my lovely new pushchair would get wet!!

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 17:26

I think this raincover would do the job

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 17:27

5in the bumper bar is fab, got a fab bargain too - got it for £22 off eBay arrived today like new even in original box! It's fab as you an adjust the height to loads of different positions to suit your baby, plus the cover zips off to go in the wash I feel complete now I have a bumper bar on it lol

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 17:32

Does it still fold the same with it on or do you have to remove it?

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 17:42

Still folds the same as you can adjust the height to get to the fold so doesn't affect it.
