Oh yey BLM! So glad you're going to get one, felt bad not selling mine to you as I know what its like to really want a pram (or two). Kiddicare have the black ones in stock here.

Pebbles, hope you feel a bit better later. DS3 has d&v since Thursday and only perked up yesterday.

buggylovinmummy - {grin] on BJCM look really good

FMTD - I feel the exact same stay up way too late as I just want some me time and can't face getting woke up every hour

I AM NOT going to buy a pram this month too many birthdays, can't stop looking at those Infinity's though

sal1309 · 16/06/2009 09:37

no prams for me this month i would like to try a bcjm but my zia is enough at the mo although its annoying me at how low it is

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 09:46

5inthebed im going to order it from precious little ones, they have them in stock and are only £159.99. Just got to wait a couple of hours for my clothes to finish on e-bay and then i can order it

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 09:51

BLM PLO are excellent, I rate them much higher then Kiddicare personally & as long as you order by 5pm they'll deliver the next (working) day, I ordered my BJCE at about 4pm & it arrived 10am the next day

BexieID · 16/06/2009 09:52

Morning. Scan went well on friday (pix on my profile) and due date is xmas day! I'm having another scan at 24 weeks as my consultant basically said it's the best way to keep tabs on bubbas growth due to my size . I also have to make a big decision. I had a 3rd degree tear with Tom and they said I might be better off having an elective section, so am doing alot of research! Something else to worry about!

5inthebed · 16/06/2009 09:56

I've never shopped with PLO.Must have a look on their website if they are that good, without DH my credit card at hand of course!

Bexie, lovely scan pictures! Your DS is gorgeous as well. I love babies with hair. I had 2 elective CS's so if you have any questions, I'll be happy to try answer them for you.

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 10:00

Bexie those pics are so clear & so cute!

It's a hard decision to make either way, I had an EMCS with DS which was scary (much calmer & more straight forward when elective though) & I was on my feet much quicker with him then after I had DD who I had naturally (had an episotomoy, burst sticthes etc)....not that, that helps you

5in you've reminded me actually, must post about my section scar....not sure where to post though!

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 10:09

Just arranged a courier for my quest to be sent with senditnow and they are coming this afternoon between 1 and 3,cant believe they can come that quick!!

I,m at a childminding course all day tomorrow so wont be here to recieve my bjcm . Might ask the neighbour if she,ll take it for me. What do they do if im not home, will they just arrange to re-deliver.

Also precious little ones do free delivery over £50.

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 10:16

Well DH is going to leave work at half 3 so I'm sure I'll cope till then. Kids are being ok because they're ill and are just lying about watching tv. We found out on Thursday that DH's mum has bowel cancer so she's got to go for an operation this Thursday so he's going to try and get that day off which is why he didn't really want to phone in today.

Bexie, I've had two emergency c-sections and one elective. The elective was a lovely experience, they even delivered DD onto my stomach still so I got to see her being born - one of the best moments of my life . Had an awful time with my second emergency one and my scar has never been the same since

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 10:18

They'll just leave a note & try & redeliver, they tend to use local drivers as opposed to courier vans. Mine was delivered by a lady in her weeny car

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 10:20

Pebbles I'm still having trouble with my scar too, I don't know what's 'normal' though IYKWIM?

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 10:24

Oh right thats ok then, i,ll leave a note on the door to say they can leave with our neighbour anyway if shes home. I home she is as i want it ASAP

I get so excited when ive got a new pushchair coming.

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 10:24

What sorts of problems? I sometimes feel like I've been pulled too tight and it's never faded as much as the scar I had from DS1, it's also twice the size of my first one . The thing I hate most though is the kangaroo pouch belly it's left me with - it's really awful .

It's slightly better after my elective as the consultant did try to mend it a bit but I'm still not happy about it.

buggylovinmummy · 16/06/2009 10:25

Right i must get off of here as ive got homework to do for my course and ds is only at nursery for another hour and a half

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 10:30

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with a kangroo pouch It's horrible isn't it

I'm very aware of mine if that makes sense, I can feel it every day, feels like I've pulled it sometimes & generally is sore, clothes rubbing against it is irritating as it feels tender, does that make sense?

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 10:31

BLM I'm exactly the same when I know a new pram is on it's way I was just as excited this morning waiting for my BJCE bumper bar PMSL!

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 10:35

The kangaroo pouch is the worst, isn't it? I'm very restricted as to what trousers I can wear as I have to make sure they fasten a good bit about the scar or else my whole stomach hangs over.

It's like a numb feeling I have but not really IYKWIM? If it was properly numb you wouldn't be able to feel it but it's just a horrible sensation. I've been told it's normal, sometimes the sensation will return to normal and sometimes not.

pebbles79 · 16/06/2009 10:35

That should say above the scar

NormaSknockers · 16/06/2009 11:15

I have numb patches if that makes sense, there are about 2/3 particular spots that are just completely numb! The pouch really is awful I'm trying so hard to diet in an attempt to make some kind of difference but same as you I struggle to find trousers etc that fit nicely without making me look like a packed in sausage Thank goodness floaty tops are 'in' so I can hide under them....even if they do make me look pregnant

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/06/2009 11:36

Ok Ebay posted-check
H&M Dress for DD1 exchanged-check
Library books returned and fine paid-check
Bits of shopping done-check
Although I did not manage to find something for evening meals for next 3 days. My mind went blank. Thats another thing that gets me down is constant meal planning and cooking.
Cuppa now before nursery pick up.
Wish I had a pushchair coming-especially new thats always exciting.

5inthebed · 16/06/2009 11:57

Just back from Baby Social. The Gecko is lovely to push . Just need my other bits and bobs, then I'll be truly gecko happy.

After three sections, my stomach is terrible. It hangs horribly, has no muscle tone whatsoever. Norma, it is normal to have numb areas. I can't actually feel my stomach from my bellybutton to my scar. Its horrible.

You'll have to report back on the BJCE bellybar, as was thinking about getting one for the BJCM.

sweetkitty · 16/06/2009 12:21

Bexie lovely scan pics and your DS is lovely too, no advice as I haven't had a section

Wish I had a new pram on the way

Been booking DD1's birthday party today though, 2 days to pay day as well so poverty stricken

Maclaren · 16/06/2009 12:26
