I prefer air tyres on any pram & usually buy them where I can, most of my prams have had air tyres & I've only ever had 1 puncture in 3 years & that was because I ran over a HUGE pin without realising (that was on my Quinny Buzz).

I think you can have pretty much anything with all black, my liner is a mix of white, blues & greens.

If you sold your BJCM on eBay I would say you'd be looking anywhere between £130-£180, the averga is about £150.

NormaSknockers · 15/06/2009 18:04

5in I got very confused with the folding lol! Have you managed to download the manual? Re the parasol how about a Protect a Bub or a Shade a babe instead?

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 18:18

I went on the bug website, but it says the manual has an error on it. Can you talk me through it, fools guide? lol

I tried it, but couldn't even get the seat off

I'm usually really good at finding out how prams unfold and fold, but this has me baffled!

5inthebed, you have to press the buttons in on the side and tip the seat so it lays flat, then you can lift it off. On either side of the handlebar, there is a switch/lever thing. The L one releases it, pull it towards you, then the R, lower it to the ground. Then with your foot on the other bar it sort of folds up in a zig zag. It sounds a phaff but takes seconds when you get into the swing of things!

nicolamumof3 · 15/06/2009 18:33

5in glad you like gecko, lots of piccies with ds in please!!

sal1309 · 15/06/2009 18:39

hello every body hope you are all well

5 in my gecko had me baffled lol.

To get seat off if you look where the white buttons are on the bits that attach it to the frame one has a button you slide push and then you push the other side in at the same time and lift.

The easiest way i found of collapsing it was to push the button in with one finger then pull the levers up at the same time and it should fold lol.

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 18:45

I've got it lying flat, but can't get the seat off! Checking on youtube as we speak lol

NormaSknockers · 15/06/2009 18:46

5in just downloaded it & worked for me, try this??

NormaSknockers · 15/06/2009 18:48

If you push the little slidey bit in on right (??) & then push the white bits in & lift if that makes sense?

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 19:01

Just says it has an error and can't load? I can get one side of the seat off, but not the second. Aaargh!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily it isn't usgent that it is folded, as its my walking pram, but I need to know how to do it just incase.

I'll try later when I'mless frustratedand likely to break something on it.

OP posts:
NormaSknockers · 15/06/2009 19:08

Once you've slid the slidy bit you need to push both white squares in at the same time then lift off, that's what worked for me anyway but it did take me a while to manage it!

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 19:24

But my fingers are nearly bleeding trying to do it

Sorry for the bad spelling on my previous post, I was all a fluster

OP posts:
5inthebed · 15/06/2009 19:32

I am such a bloody idiot! I was squeezing instead of pushing. I should have my pramaholic status removed and sent to Coventry!

Seat off, pram folded down, so easy once you know how!!!

nicolamumof3 · 15/06/2009 19:59

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/06/2009 20:03

Evening all.
Nothing happening here.
Fed up.
Bored.

Wish there was a pushchair I could buy to cheer myself up!

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 20:04

Have you not managed to get an infinity yet then Dunoon?

sweetkitty · 15/06/2009 20:36

5inthebed - DS3 is gorgeous what age is he?

Dunoon - I know what you mean I am obsessed by an Infinity as well, really know I shouldn't last yuck red/beige one went for £67, was thinking about one and then trying to get covers

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/06/2009 20:38

I watched that one too and even bid on it at £43.
Not that i am here, I am actually cleaning up.

5inthebed · 15/06/2009 20:44

SK, he is 7 months next week. He is a big boy though and has been in 9-12 month old clothes since he was 5 months old.

Dunoon, fingers crossed one comes up local for that price then. Does it have to be an air tyred rear facer?

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 15/06/2009 21:00
