oooh well done 5in, im trying to get my paypal funds up to pay you back hunnie. my bee is packed up ready to be sent tomorrow for my 'trial' with red and black hoods and breezy and raincover what a lucky girl i am eh? will take loads of piccies so you can see.

NormaSknockers · 07/06/2009 19:59

Dis as Blamory said you can just switch wheels if you wanted to as exactly the same fitting.

Babyvalue are very good though if you change your mind

littlelamb · 07/06/2009 20:01

Still have it 5in
I was worried before I ordered it as I had heard the seat was small. Imo, it's not. Ds is one tomorrow and a very very tall boy and has stacks of room. Obviously dd at nearly 5 is too big, but I've had a friends 3 year old in there with no problem

Disenchanted3 · 07/06/2009 20:42

The Bee is such a lovely push, is as light as something with air tyres.

I haven't looked or lusted at another pram since I got my Bee, can't believe how settled I am at last! Glad I eventually got some sort of Bug too, told DH that you can't be considered a true pramaholic until you've had a Bug PMSL

NormaSknockers · 07/06/2009 20:55

You'll love the Skate Dis I'm going to have to chose whether to keep or sell mine!

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 20:55

i've never really fancied a bug tbh, i just think they are soooo expensive, i quite like the look of the cam but hate the carrycots too low looks strange, and i just think they are only suitable for younger toddlers but you never know i could be converted by the end of the week and selling everything i own!!

dis the skate is heavy, but then i guess so is the buzz?

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 20:56

so norma did you get gecko?

NormaSknockers · 07/06/2009 20:58

I did

pebbles79 · 07/06/2009 21:03

Skate is heavy but not to push, definitely more of a walking pram than a fold up and put in the car pram.

5inthebed · 07/06/2009 21:28

Oh fab Dis. Would rather have a skate than a buzz.

Norma, well done on getting the gecko . I was just looking on Ebay, there is a bnip green gecko set inc basket, but pricey at £140.

Still not sure if getting the Bee, would love it as saw them when I was pregnant with Sumo. Might look into getting a gecko as well while waiting for mac to sell. Green Gecko went for £200 and black one at £210 near me today. Cheaeper than Bee, and still have some left over for accesories . So not sure what to do.

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 21:30

i'd sooner have gecko than bee i think, esp in green mmmmh! yum!

NormaSknockers · 07/06/2009 21:32

I was eyeing up that set too 5in but I love the black as easier to pimp

Going to have to chose between the Gecko & the Skate - eeek!

5inthebed · 07/06/2009 21:54

Let me help take that decision out of your hands.......

I'll take the Gecko if you don't like it

I do love the green gecko. Green is my all time fave colour in prams.

Aargh, decions decisions. Still waiting for person to get back to me about mac.

NormaSknockers · 07/06/2009 21:55

It's the deciding between the two that will be the hard bit

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 21:58

i hate that too norma. all your lovely custom stuff you've had made for skate tho i do think you will love gecko, are you getting custom basket made for it? you will go mad with custom stuff on that it will cost you a fortune!!

5inthebed · 07/06/2009 22:23

Can you get custom baskets for bugs? Don't put that idea in my head!

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 22:31

i expect norma can !

NormaSknockers · 08/06/2009 07:46

I've already sold most of my Skate stuff as fancied a change & it just wasn't getting used. I still have the footmuff as that fits most of my prams.

If it stays then I'll get a liner, prob not much more then that though as my Snunkie footmuff shold fit it.

I'll probably get an offical basket if I can but I'm sure customs are possible.

Disenchanted3 · 08/06/2009 08:02

Norma let me know if you sell skate .. waiting to hear from maclaren
