Morning everyone!

hows everyone today? we had lots of rain early this morning, but the suns coming out now, we are up early so may take boys for wallk as bound to pour down again later, will get their wellies on!

maxybrown · 07/06/2009 09:05

Instead of bucket style seat it is more like a proper seat....will look for one....not many about at min. I'm not keen on opera seat, it is more like Loola, but actually I think worse! Looks too flat...

larsazlol · 07/06/2009 09:49

hi, I am a lurking buggy addict,
The other seat is the optima but does not fit a bigger child so well and is very deep with the sides which makes the pushchair huge folded. I love the opera seat it is way better than the loola I think the child sits nicer. Tis a nice pushchair the bebe confort air, that one looks nice might have a bid.
Nicola you will be fine with bee my three year old sits fine in ours when baby is out! They are not as small as people think I was surprised she did not look squashed. The bee is lovely it is definately my keeper pushchair even other half is impressed.

carrielou2007 · 07/06/2009 10:17

Morning.

I must have an unusually large dd as I had a bee last year, she would have been 18 months or a bit less and she had about 1cm between her head and the hood! She is a lanky longlegs and she just looked silly, like a big girl sat in a dolls pram after I had lusted after it for so long.

Bump09 is your name a reflection of you? Is that you and Bexie expecting on here? It always comes in threes, who will be next

We got soaked yesterday, looks a bit better today so off out for a walk in a bit before it starts again.

maxybrown · 07/06/2009 10:37

larsazol, oh right, not had one but it looks much nicer than the opera. On advice from a couple of people they said seat was generous! Someone on here has one....can't remember who. opera seat always looks really flat and I thought when I had the loola it was flat but opera looks even worse to me! is it not??
Can't win, guess everyone thinks differently hence message above too...but I know what you mean about that carrielou - not had bee but another one I had DS loked like that, it looked really strange!!

lillypie · 07/06/2009 10:39

Hi everyone

Yoohoo carrie

I am really regretting swapping my lovely Quest for that awful Hauck Shopper.Got my eye on a Life's a Bed of Roses one.Still love the yummy Triumph though

carrielou2007 · 07/06/2009 10:43

at Lillypie I had a bed of roses, very very girly.

Maxy was it you with the silver cross linear? I really wanted one (love silver cross) but are they heavy?? I sold my bug cam when dd was 2 and they go so cheap on ebay and look like they have a big seat so maybe dd wouldn't look quite so odd in it??

maxybrown · 07/06/2009 10:48

carrielou yes it was....just sold it couple of weeks ago, had it in linear AND classic. Classic is very heavy as chassis is heavy, but nice. Linear, I don't think heavy - not after having classic! There is loads of room in it, nice big space around hood so they don't look daft in it.Obviously it's not light light but I found it ok TBH. Have Nipper now and that is mega light but SC was nice....that was the only one I found to do the job in the end!

lovely! happy shopping dis, when is bday? its luka's in a few weeks. i've got him climbing frame thing from mothercare.

larsazlol · 07/06/2009 13:56

when laying down the opera seat goes flatter at the sides but not when sitting up, I always thought it looked more comfy that the loola. The optima seat is very padded and when laying down the back where the head is comes up to make like a carrycot which takes some of the seat legnth away if you get me. The advantage of the opera is definately when the pushchair is folded keeps it all flatter for lifting and storing.

Back to the bee my girl has loads of room head wise at 3. I agree if they are long legged they could be a dangly in rearward facing as there is nowhere to put them but it is mainly for the baby who is 10 months, (I have nipper 360 and phil and teds for them both) he has plenty of room and I love how it pushes I have never pushed anything so light without air wheels.

maxybrown · 07/06/2009 16:34

HELP!!! Nothing to do with prams but hopefully some of you are lurking! DS has just tried to climb up on a stoll and has fallen and split the "upper labial frenulum" bit that connects lip to gum. It is quite a split and he has a nice fat lip now too, but would it need looking at do you think? He's currently having his first ice lolly and is happy now, plus, I'm not a panicker, but would hate to think he would need it stitching or something and I haven't taken him!

Will it just heal back do people think??

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/06/2009 17:10

Hi all.
We had a walk round Dunorlan Park and it was nice to get out but two younger DDs just so wilfull and ignore everything you say to them. V. frustrating.
The energy coped well with park but I did miss my MB.
I had a Bebe Confort Trophy when DD3 was maybe 10m and seat was very padded.

nicolamumof3 · 07/06/2009 17:27

maxy bless him, how is he now? unless its bleeding still i would be inclined to leave it, mouth wounds always heel v.fast ime. hope you are both ok?

maxybrown · 07/06/2009 17:38

Ah he seems ok thanks Nicola! Dh is going "oh he's fine just being dramatic" (can you tell he's a secondary teacher? lol) and I said "what's all that blood then?" oops he said....or something like that!

He has a huge fat lip! The bleeding stopped after the sugar that I put on! I'm sure he will be ok now, thank you though!

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/06/2009 17:43

Sorry Maxy I just posted and went off. Yes I agrree with Nicloa leave it and just keep something cold on to relieve swelling. Maybe some ibuprofen too to help with inflammation and any pain.

You could ask them to hang on to your money till they get another Buzz 3 in. I think they get them quite often.

Balamorybaby · 07/06/2009 18:54

Dis, just get a single buzz front wheel and swop them over, its the same fitting.

5inthebed · 07/06/2009 19:37

You still want me to email you Dis?

Might have sold the Mac . Made £95 from selling that other stuff as well, so got a bit of funds building up for a bug. Wonder if LL still has her Bee.Need to take DS3 to John Lewis and try him in a few.

Disenchanted3 · 07/06/2009 19:38

Yes I may email them and ask them if they have any buz 3s coming in or if I can have the racoon one , I just didn't like the steer, DH did but it will be me pushing!

Saw 2 skates whilst out too, are yummy!
