Fantastic advice, thank you so much i am on the case now to start saving. I have the obaby apex stroller at the moment only a month old and want to sell this. I have an advert on ebay just now. I think this is wonderfull but it just doesn't have that suspension i have been looking for. It is huge inside and my 3 year old sits lovely in it. Any tips on how to sell it quickly. Also do you think the bjce would travel abroad ok. Can i insure it for damage. I am so mad with myself. If i had just seen this first i would have saved a small fortune as i have had loads of strollers now and never happy. I have the wallaboo footmuff in black and wonder if this would fit the elite and still be able to fold ? I could sell that if not. thanks again i really appreciate the time you are taking to reply.

I love my BJCM . It is going to be my recommended lightweight pram to anyone now. I think I might try sell my black mac and get the BJCE. Or am I just going to miss my mac?

Basl you can get get travel bags for both the Elite & the BJCM as well as wheel bags if you wanted extra protection. I have to say if it were me I would be more inclined to use the BJCM to take abroad as it's much lighter. However the fold is exactly the same, the one hand fold of pulling the strap so they fold exactly the same so no issues with that. On the BJCM all 3 wheels are quick release whereas with the BJCE the back wheels are quick release but the front wheel has to be unscrewed although pretty quick to do. When you fold the BJCE with the front wheel on though it folds flush with the chssis so doesn't sick out or anything like that. I'm not sure on the Wallaboo footmuff I'm afraid, I use either Kaisers or Snunkie footmuffs as find them the longest & cosiest.

Ooo go for it 5in I fully intend to have the BJCM as well as my BJCE as just love them both!

MrsMagooo, I think i have a real problem here. Do you know i have just even considered a second hand double city mini for hols as we will prob be walking alot as we are based on the beach front and parents only staying 30min away so plan to walk and visit them in their hotel. Can you believe that has even entered my head. My 3year old is so petite and i think she would love the ride but double buggy on flight???? She would like a little snooze when we are out for meal at night. I totally agree with what you say about which one to take on hols. I have two mothercare strollers jive. The pink and the camo and i think i am going to sell the lot and any other bits and pieces. Just gave away a whole bebecar travel sytem for nothing to someone and now thinking i could have made a bit on that. thanks again

Basl the double BJCM is brilliant, just as good as all the other members of the BJCM! It would sell on afterwards no problem at all, BJ's sell very well.

Didn't know there were so many other pramaholics around, I feel so much better about my own addiction now

I've owned sooo many single pushchairs over the last 2 years for my DS2 and have recently had boy/girl twins, DS3 and DD3 (yes, 6 kids in total!) so am now starting to build a collection of doubles

ATM, I've got an Icandy pear and an ABC twin everest with the toddler seat for DS2. I'm seriously hankering after a MB (got loads on my ebay watch list) and now I'm being tempted by all this talk of BJCM's.

Luckily my DH was ok with my single pram addiction (he just laughed about it) but the doubles take up so much more room, I don't know how he'll cope this time, lol.

Found a Brand New BJC Elite Double for £350 which seems fairly good considering some of the prices I found online.

Will take a look at the nipper now
