I only have 2 prams a P&T and a MB double terrain, i need another tho

carrielou2007 · 01/05/2009 16:31

I'm not a fan of the Nuna, sorry, I am in the ugly camp (tries not to offend)

I'm not really keen on the BCJM either, I saw one in my local baby shop and feels a bit 'plasticky' but everyone seems to love them. I was like that with the xt, hated them but love the new one. Prob if I borrowed one from someone I would 'get it' and go off to buy one!!

5inthebed · 01/05/2009 16:39

Never tried either Loulou, but I prefer the look of the I'coo Pluto more than the M&P.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 01/05/2009 16:41

I played with a Nuna and quite liked it, far too expensive for me though for what it is.

Disenchanted3 · 01/05/2009 16:46

Hi girls,]

busy doing my MB up!

Just put covers in the wash, sewed a few bits, wheels are having a bath (!) and DH is currently respraying frame.

Took kids out in it today and had all 3 sat in, lol.

Its fab,

HUGGGGGE, tho. Very big for my little house

Don't know whether to sell, get single and just have Dex say on the front like he did with my other!

nappyaddict · 01/05/2009 17:36

I don't like the nuna at all. My friend liked the look of the Pluto but then found out it is only suitable from 6 months so was no good for her.

Seen a M&P pulse in the paper for £25!!! It's beige and looks in really good condition for 18 months old. Not sure if I will be able to keep it looking so good being so light but I really want it cos I've only seen red, black or lilac before.

nappyaddict · 01/05/2009 17:38

AND she said she will deliver it.

maxybrown · 01/05/2009 17:56

Nicola, do you go on terrain very often with the 360? I am debating saving for a new nipper and selling the one I have....but I do like my fixed wheel and wondered what 360 was like ??

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/05/2009 17:57

Ok have been to Mothercare and:
Don't like the quality or feel of the Pop. Plasicky and rickety. Nothing on a Mac.
However,
also had a look at the new black XT and didn't like that either [phew!]
Obaby-no way baby!
Chicco- too low.

So actually I am sticking with the Volo..........
Or the Energy

Energy is hard to fit in my cupboard though so it may go.

nappyaddict · 01/05/2009 18:01

FMTD - I was looking in Boots today and the Britax Nexus is really nice. Handle height 106cm, not sure if that's tall enough.

carrielou2007 · 01/05/2009 18:06

I love my volo, I leave it in the boot of the car and so rarely use it as mostly we walk when I'm off. Have just used it and I soooooo love it, so light to push even with my lump of a dd in it. I l like it better than my quest!!

Still a bit errrr about the lack of recline though. Dd will nap in it, but if I take it away on holiday she has her main nap of an hour or so in it normally whilst I get a nice walk and so really would need the recline...

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/05/2009 18:12

I saw the nexus-quick flash round Boots after Mothercare and before rushing back incase I needed to pick up DD2 after dancing and
Sorry wasn't keen on that either- not sure why. I didn't pay it close attention because it looked short.
BTW all the pushchairs in the Boots here have obviously been put together by someone who has never owned a pushchair in their life. The hoods are all on far too high up, the obaby wasnt locked into upright and the seat was half up and half reclined.

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/05/2009 18:12

How tall are you Carrielou?

claret1980 · 01/05/2009 18:19

Well I got a counter offer for the Vigour 4 of £120 + arrange own courier. Do you think this is a fair price?

carrielou2007 · 01/05/2009 18:22

I'm 5 foot 8. I find the quest low but not really the volo. The xt is perfect. The zapp I couldn't use gave me backache from being too low. When not at work I am in walking boots/trainers though never heels.

littlelamb · 01/05/2009 18:23

Claret I think I'm going to sell my Vigour 4+. Have been dithering about it all week. Yours for £95

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/05/2009 18:23

How old is it Claret?
The Vigour 3 I bought and sold again went for around £95 I think.

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/05/2009 18:25

Good x post!

Howcome volo more comfy than quest Carrielou-same height surely.

littlelamb · 01/05/2009 18:29

Disenchanted3 · 01/05/2009 18:31
