Iwouldn't go with any of those, lol. But then id have to have the front and back match in someway, which is daft really.

im the same dis i'd want co-ordinated i'd prob go some kind of spot/stripe on the reverse of the fishes.

BexieID · 22/04/2009 10:17

I like the fish too.

I finally took a test and I am pregnant. My cycle is 25 days, so am 10 days late! I'm 5 weeks today and due 20th December. Last time I took test I was 7 weeks.

Tom has been very clingly the last few days. Do you think he senses a change in me? I don't really feel any different. Tired, back ache from working on the silly small checkouts at work. Have 2 weeks off now thank goodness. I was only sick twice with Tom. Once when I was 19 weeks after having Burger King at Heathrow and the 2nd time was also after eating out at lunchtime in a pub with my brother. Will have to avoid having bacon when out methinks!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS BEXIE!!

mamadiva, I like the fish but would go with something plain to match.
I don't get the skulls for baby sorry!

BexieID · 22/04/2009 10:37

I'm not sure sure about a Skate now, lol. Think i'm just going to settle for a carrycot for the c drive, but we'll see .

BexieID · 22/04/2009 10:38

Thanks everyone. DP seems happy enough. Just hope we can stay in the flat a bit longer.

jennieflower · 22/04/2009 10:39

I'm after your help again please

I posted a couple of weeks ago when I was thinking of selling my Cam to get a Bee, I've researched the Bee a bit more and have decided it's not for me as DS is very tall already so it won't last, also I do a lot of walking so need something nice to push.

So now I've decided to keep the Cam for now and get a Maclaren to use for short trips, I really like the Lulu Guinness (this is the life) or the Spitfire but can't tell the difference between the features.

Lulu Guinness is a Quest, and the Spitfire is a Ryder, I've downloaded the comparison chart from the Maclaren website but the Ryder's not on it, so what's the difference between the two?

lillypie · 22/04/2009 10:51

ooh you need nicola, she's the mac expert

I was thinking I might need Nicola as well. (I lurk on this thread a lot!)

Congratulations Bexi!

jennieflower · 22/04/2009 10:56

Disenchanted I've looked at yours a few times now, I'd be interested but need a few weeks to raise the cash by selling my old tat things on ebay. Which doesn't really help you right now does it?

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/04/2009 11:00

Congratulation Bexie!
Thats wonderful news.

jennieflower the Ryder has higher handle I think.
Nicola used to have one.

Umlellala · 22/04/2009 11:03

Hey, the tipping is not when pushing, just when I have overloaded stuff on the back and then take baby out/toddler climbs out first. Easy to sort - just take stuff off first. Just really annoys me. I think it's cos you put more stuff on the handles when they are umbrella...
Am liking the smallness of the Maclaren again though. But that's it so far. And it's sturdy (I have bashed it about in the three years I have had it). And easy to fold.Hmmm. Did see the new ones in JL the other day - all black and trendy!

Congrats Bexie!

Umlellala · 22/04/2009 11:03

PS I'd go with fish/spots or stripes too.

nicolamumof3 · 22/04/2009 11:11

hiya jennie if handle height is no issue i'd go with a quest, they are just so lovely light and nippy i really love my quests. quests and xt's are my favourite.

the spitfire is indeed on a ryder chassis if you look up spitfire rather than ryder on mac website should come up??

it is a bigger frame so larger fold, and higher handle. i had a mac ryder they are really nice, just that touch bigger seat and higher up too. i really do like the spifire lovely colours and nice colour chassis too nice to be a bit different!

im selling a mac quest btw if interested tho!
only two weeks old £90 del

mamadiva · 22/04/2009 11:39

CONGRATS BEXIE!!!, glad your happy with the news, and think of the new prams you'll be able to have LOL.

I just wanted something that has 2 totally different looks IYSWIM so I can totally revamp if I want to.

I got Liam a VTECH Kidizoom camera and case for his bday he loves cameras, won them both for £30 and apparently have only been used twice since bought in November!

jennieflower · 22/04/2009 11:39

Thanks everyone, I think I'll go for the spitfire, I'm nearly 6ft tall so the higher the hande the better really.

I love the look of the spitfire, and was a huge fan of the mod scene before having DC, I actually rose my mod scooter every day right up until a week before I gave birth to DD!

Actually can I just check another thing with you all, DP thinks I'm crazy because I'm so protective of my prams. I hate it when other people offer to push my prams for me (mainly my parents and PIL's) in case they bump into anything or scratch them, and I get really twitchy when DP tries to fold or unfold them to get them in and out of the car! Is everyone else like this?

5inthebed · 22/04/2009 12:13

Congratualtions Bexie .

BexieID · 22/04/2009 12:14

lol @ new prams. Must say with DP almost being made redundant and still not sure about flat, i'll probably won't be buying anymore prams after getting the cdrive & carrycot for it. Would still love a Skate though!

sweetkitty · 22/04/2009 12:17

Congratulations Bexie a Christmas baby and more prams

Got so mucht o do today my head is spinning will be back later x

pebbles79 · 22/04/2009 12:33

Bexie, I should still have Skate till the end of the month if you want to try it out? I don't mind meeting up one day, Liam and Tom are the same age anyway so should get on well.

sal1309 · 22/04/2009 12:35
