I think mogs0 is a MNer. I'm sure she is the lady who bought my zooper off me.

nappyaddict · 30/04/2009 02:13

oh ignore me i thought you were saying that mogs0 was the ebay seller but now realise you were replying to mogs. doh

anyway i'm thinking of getting this

mamadiva · 30/04/2009 02:55

Looks kinda flimsy nappy, do you walk a lot? If so I'd get something more robust.

How is DS these days?

nicolamumof3 · 30/04/2009 07:42

Morning all!

Hows everyone today? my last ever day at work today as the office closes today. bit sad. but bank balance looks nice after redundancy payment! Shame its all allocated already!

sweetkitty · 30/04/2009 08:06

morning everyone

Nicola - have the best as you can lat day at work are you looking for something elsewhere?

I am really boring just now have my Lunamix which I love and an XT. Am waiting until we come back from holidays and will order a nice liner for the Luna. Would love a rear facer as well

lillypie · 30/04/2009 08:18

Have a good day nicola.Anyway you are far too busy to work, you have a wedding to plan!!!

lillypie · 30/04/2009 08:19

nappy isn't Nurse the sister company of Jane? The buggy is probably more sturdy than it looks

mamadiva · 30/04/2009 09:09

Morning all,

How long until the wedding now Nicola?

Shame about your job but I'm sure you will find something else sooon enough! Does that mean since your not at your office that you won't be on here anymore?

SK-I wish DS was younger I'd squish him into a Silvercross Linear rear facing I love them, they go quite cheap on Ebay save your money from the liner and get one of them

Lily they are the sister company but if you do a lot of walking the (basically) sonic would probably be bumpy and uncomfy I'd imagine unless you walk on smooth pavements all the time, we don't seem to have any here can just about cope with bumps with the BJCM LOL.

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/04/2009 09:09

Just popping on before I rush to nursery.
Have a good day Nicola
Going to try this Jane Energy.
Later!

maxybrown · 30/04/2009 09:22

I have the silver cross linear, lovely! Just depends how much space you have I guess, but I love it.

mamadiva · 30/04/2009 09:26

Would be pretty useless to us now but if I was to have another would defo have one soo pretty...

My friend had one for 3 months then she got rid and bought a cheapy little hauck thing I was she said could'nt be arsed with the taking it apart to fold anymore!

Hopi · 30/04/2009 09:36

mamadiva - that is the thing that bugs me about a lot of lovely prams. I really can't be arsed with dismantling them every time I get in and out of the car. Hence why I settled on the Bee and a Maclaren in the end! If I did a lot of walking and I had a place to store then I would have a lovely, lovely pram but lifestyle and circumstances dictate...

sal1309 · 30/04/2009 09:39

nicolamumof3 · 30/04/2009 10:43

Thanks girls, im not actually looking for another job mamadiva, im doing a training course for teaching assistant on Tuesdays, on Thursdays im doing a childminding course starts next month and Fridays helping out in school. so going to be quite busy.

mamadiva · 30/04/2009 11:53

Good for you Nicola!

Wish I could afford to go to college this year maybe next year (even though I said that last year).

Sal hope DD gets better soon! Where you off to?

nicolamumof3 · 30/04/2009 12:07

all my courses are FREE! i wouldn't be able to do them otherwise. if financially we can't manage i will have to look for another job which will probably be a v.real possibility. Thats why the childminding would be good as can do that at home with my own children.

maxybrown · 30/04/2009 12:16

Nicola have sent you an email!

nicolamumof3 · 30/04/2009 12:19

nicolamumof3 · 30/04/2009 13:23

Have a lovely holiday!

just got in from work have leaving party tonight so that will be nice.

sold xt on ebay. just one of the quests to go. Zapp now paid for so should have that next week!!

sweetkitty · 30/04/2009 13:31

Silvercross linear looks lovely but again I really need one I can fold and unfold quickly in and out of the car. If I were to have another baby though

Nicola - good for you hope the childminding works out for you, I am always thinking about what to do once the older two are at school but don't know how feasible it would be. DH is out the house 6-6 5 days a week and we have no family to help out so it's just me. I used to be a microbiologist/food safety auditor preDC but it's not child friendly and theres no chance of me getting a job up here anyway (we moved from London to Scotland after DD1 was born) so am back to square one so to speak. Like most Mums I am looking for child friendly hours.

pebbles79 · 30/04/2009 13:38

My job is perfect for being child friendly, well for me it is anyway. DH works your typical 9-5 (well he doesn't really, he works 7.30 to 4, lol), and I work 3 shifts a week that are either evenings or weekends.
