carrielou2007 · 29/04/2009 21:06

Dis what are you buying now?? I'm a bit lacking in all the buggy buying

Have XT not going anywhere, apples quest (not sure if I still like it) pink triumph I hate but love it will keep it for the colour and volo I still love love love.

May still get cheapo urban detour but going off that idea a bit.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 21:11

i think you would love a nipper carrie as they are soooo light so when you have a toddler in you hardly notice. Tate loves the nipper as its a deep seat he's comfy.

carrielou2007 · 29/04/2009 21:24

I've never seen one in the flesh so to speak. It sounds just what I'm after, sturdy for walking,on the beach, lightweight and folds small but would want to see one iyswim.

Have just eaten 2 cream eggs - a 12 pack was half price in Asda. Not such a bargain if I eat all 12 by next week!!

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 21:34

lol carrielou, they are lovely the pleasure is in the lightness and you can funk them up with buggysnuggles/liners etc. they hold their price fairly well secondhand tho.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 21:50

Well I buggered that up!

Bit the reserve to wait for seller to get back to me and some one has outbid me

Not past what we had 'agreed' but I bet she'll want to let it run now

Oh Dis what were you buying?

BoredWithWork · 29/04/2009 22:11

Pushchair Shed Ladies, can you help please?

I'm expecting DC2 and DS will only be 26mths when the new one arrives and I've got a feeling that I will need to purchase a double/tandem. Any suggestions for a good, not expensive, buggy? Just so you know, I don't like the Phil & Ted's ones, or any where the baby is lying at the level of my knees. Have a bugaboo cam currently.

DS2 will be a winter baby so I don't think I can get away with just a buggy board in wet/cold weather.

thanks for the help!

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 22:12

MB single.

Suppose its for the best I shouldn't realllly have but DS hasn't got a buggy at all now!

hi carrielou lol at the cream eggs

well i thought i was pushchair happy but ive just bought a petite zia star to take on my hols and my mum went and collected it for me

I am seriously considering selling my jane slalom travel system as dd really isnt using the pushchair much now. For those of you with older lo's will i need my 3 wheeler still is it worth keeping? dd is 2.5 ?

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 22:38

Sal how much for slalom

OP posts:
sal1309 · 29/04/2009 22:43

Dis honestly not sure what to price it at tbh will have to do some research as its in really good condition and still not 100% sure whether to sell as when i sold my first one i regretted it but she was younger then lol

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 22:44

Ok lemme know when you decide and can you let me know what colour etc

OP posts:
sal1309 · 29/04/2009 22:48

will do hun its graphite (all black)

anyone have ideas what to price it at? comes with matrix lie flat carseat/carrycot raincovers for both pushchair and carrycot, instructions, pump, liner, head cushion in vgc.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 22:55

If you will sell sep im REALLY interested in the buggy alone

OP posts:
sal1309 · 29/04/2009 23:03

sorry hun but if i was to sell id sell it all together as dont want to get stuck with the carseat/carrycot

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 23:04

They do sell well alone on ebay, ive sold 4 matrixs / rebels in my time,

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 29/04/2009 23:05

Sal, do you have a graphite changing bag?

sal1309 · 29/04/2009 23:08

no hun ive got the footmuff but not the bag

horsemadgal · 29/04/2009 23:09

Ah shame just the bag I'm looking for.
Graphite very popular colour on eBay.

sal1309 · 29/04/2009 23:12

cheers horsemadgal do you have any idea what its worth advertising for (without footmuff as thinking of keeping it)

horsemadgal · 29/04/2009 23:29

prices are a hit and a miss right now it seems.
My SIL sold her graphite Slalom with carrycot and car seat for £275 plus post if that helps. She put it on a BIN with BO and got the full asking price.
I though she was very lucky though.

sal1309 · 29/04/2009 23:33

Dis had a word with dh and he deffo wants it to go all together sorry.

Horsemadgal that is a great price she was lucky. Might be worth a try on ebay with a decent reserve when i get back off hols then lol See how much we use the pushchair while we are away
