nicecupofchar I guess go with Mothercare as a big known company. Although I have heard that their service is crap.

Well have WD40ed and the pushchair is turning slightly better. I will take it out tomorrow and give it a real testing.
Seller is being really nice.

I have no luck with Janes.

I'm confused Dis-what pushchairs do you have and what are you after and why?

mogs0 · 29/04/2009 18:13

FlyMe - Could you try giving the wheels a really good wash? I recently took my Jane (different model) to Mothercare and the lady said there was a build of grime from normal use and it just needed de-gunking every now and then.

Right so you want to have 1 double and two singles-yes?

Mogs0 the seller said she washed it with a powerhose. She thinks and I tend to agree with her that this may in fact have been too much.

My xt used to get squeaky when I cleaned it and had to be lubed again.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 18:37

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 19:54

if someone agreed to a lower price but then werent online and there was a chance the item would be snapped up,

would you hit BIN and expect to pay the lower price still?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:01

yes if you have email from them i would.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 20:02

someone else said no.

wouldn't they have to pay the higher % to ebay though?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:05

oh yeah sorry didn't think of that, is it a big difference then? you would have to cover her fees i guess?

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:05

btw this happened to me the other week on a brand new techno, i lost it was gutted all w/end! obv. not now that i have the techno and am selling lol!

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 20:06

£3

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 20:13

or i can bid 99p and that will remove the BIN price?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:14

depends if they have a reserve on it dis. for £3 i'd hit the bin and just cover their fees won't be much?

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 20:15

the fees will be £3 extra for them if i buy it at higher price, the item isnt £3.

There is a reserve, does that make a diff to the bin going?

I hate this whole one pram lark. Its very boring! I need to make a new pram purchase soon!

What shall I buy? I really want a BJCM, so holding out for one of those, but still want a rear facer as well.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:31

carrielou2007 · 29/04/2009 20:41

Have I wandered into the wrong place?? Confessions of giving your childrens gregg's sausage rolls (I am also one of these mummys!!) and deep breath fruit shoots (I'm NOT that sort of mummy!!). Then billions of buggy purchases in just one day??

I think I need to buy something though don't know what to keep up my 'prams are our friends' membership!!

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 20:43
