Disenchanted3 · 02/04/2009 22:04

sweetkitty · 02/04/2009 22:05

Wish I had known about it earlier could have ordered DDs beds from Littlewoods instead

sweetkitty · 02/04/2009 22:08

Bloody expensive too £190 for Luna Mix only £160 in M&P

sal1309 · 02/04/2009 22:13

code is ZQ152 only on telephone orders

sk unfortunatly catalogues are normally a bit more expensive

sweetkitty · 02/04/2009 22:15

I know sal but thanks for sharing have spent too much money this month though

The black XT looks very nice too, is that what you are getting disenchanted

sal1309 · 02/04/2009 22:32

lol i know that feeling sk my dh has just bought a new fish tank so no pennies this month lol

sal1309 · 02/04/2009 22:34

sk if you go on littlewoods direct the luna mix is £160 on there so with the code would be £110

mamadiva · 03/04/2009 08:06

Morning all,

Well I had fun yesterday, the lady in the pram shop let me loose in the store room to raid for a box and I got to play with LOADS of newish pushchairs

Ended up with a box that came with 2 Luna's in it LOL it only JUST fits and is not exactly square round the edges will that matter?

I was playing with a Nuna it would be perfect for what I need but FAR tooo expensive now if it'd of came out when DS was a bit younger i would probably have bought.

mamadiva · 03/04/2009 08:22

Yup hopefully they take it LOL. DP does'nt think they will because it's not the right shape but it does stand on one end and all the way round it's just that it does'nt stand on one end because it's all squintified

How are you this morning Nic?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 03/04/2009 09:00

im sure they will take it as long as its secure mama, got to be better in cardboard than not eh?

im exhausted but have tons of house work to do today!!! hows you?

BexieID · 03/04/2009 10:06

I'm really . The guys doing the inspection thing of our flats/building yesterday have said the co-op want to auction the flats off in a months time. A month? Thats hardly anytime at all. If we want to buy we need to register our interest. Then try and get a mortgage. Which in itself isn't too bad (but doesn't give us long to do that) but DP may be out of a job in 2 weeks as Dell are getting rid of 20% of the people in Glasgow.

Fingers crossed that DP isn't made redundant and that we can get a mortgage. TBH, if we got a mortgage it would depend on how much they want for this flat before auction. I think we have to make an offer. A lovely 2 bed flat across the road is on the market for £75k but ours is shite by comparison. We have no central heating either and dampness issues. I wouldn't offer anymore than £40k for it, especially after looking at what else is on the market in the area last night.

mamadiva · 03/04/2009 10:16

Aww Bexie that sounds awful , TBH if there is a chance DP could be paid off I would'nt go for a mortgage it'll just cause more stress if he does.

Maybe a private let or something like that would be good for now. Are you in Glasgow? I'm from near there and there used to be LOADS of lets going around.

Im still ill

its doing my head in now, i just want to feel well again.

My uncle whi NEVVER comes to the house knocked on to get DH this morning (hes helping clear Grandads flat) and the house is a mess cause ive been ill, i was soooo

BexieID · 03/04/2009 10:41

I think i'd like to see how much we'd get a mortgage for, then if DP doesn't get made redundant we can carry on, iykwim. We are in Dumbarton.

I'm looking at our tenancy rights in case a new landlord wants to evict us all! My SIL lives next door as well.

mamadiva · 03/04/2009 10:43

Bexie that's where I'm from

OP posts:
mamadiva · 03/04/2009 10:48

Heehee small world eh? LOL

Your landlord needs to give you a months notice so even if they decide to auction in a month they can't officially ask you to leave until a month after they actually notified you. IYSWIM.

I lived up in Bellsmyre (the posh bit mindnn) LOL. But moved up here away to the highlands like 3 years ago to be nearer my mum.

Hi.
Hey Sal hope you are well too.
Never mind SweetKitty where your bunk beds coming from?

I have backache and think it is from the volo. I pushed it all day yesterday and it did feel low. Don't want a heavier pushchair though.

Sigh. I wish I felt well too. I still have a runny nose and am tired most of the time.Still, off to Edinburgh tomorrow. Be nice to see family and friends. Just hope I am not too under the weather to enjoy myself.

nicolamumof3 · 03/04/2009 11:04

oh wow dunoon have a fabby time...

hope your xt comes soon dis, that will cheer you up.

just listed some toddlers toys if anyone interested??

here

Disenchanted3 · 03/04/2009 11:10

its here

mamadiva · 03/04/2009 11:11

Dunoon the XT is'nt heavy but is quite high up, I manage to walk over a very steep step bridge holding DS's hand and carrying the folded XT no probs.

But am looking for the shoulder strap thingy as DS is not amused going over that bridge so I could even just help him down more if it was'nt in my hand.

Anyone know where I can get a Mac shoulder strap?

Was going to get this until I saw the postage

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/04/2009 11:16

Have had an xt and remember it as heavier and quite a bit more bulky. Just got used to volo now.

Any xts about for £50 ish?

Might pop into Mothercare at some point and have a compare.

Off to nursery easter concert and egg hunt!

Just noticed the easter emoticons have disappeared-were there a minute ago.

nicolamumof3 · 03/04/2009 11:17

that postage is disgusting!! i've emailed her and asked if she would refund postage if any less? i know someone else has asked but thats awful!!

Dunoon has had an xt before. i think they do feel quite different to push compared to a quest or volo. but i still think they are a lovely push, i'd have one again when i no longer have to continually hold tates hand!!
