Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

I sold my 03 Sport for £85 inc delivery on Ebay am v.pleased, although a bit miffed by courier but I'm sure I'll manage. LOL

How is everyone?

Morning all, how is everyone?

Phoned pram shop last night and said they may have a box laying about so Liam is going to grannies and can go to town in peace

Hope they do otherwise will just have to major bubblewrap and heavy duty bin bags but I did state that on Ebay ad so... wonder if B&Q would do mahoosive bubble wrap actually?!

Have taken your advice Nicola am going to leave it if he wont sit properly in XT then will just make him walk everywhere, as long as time is no factor obviously Although he has a 3 wheel scooter that he is GRADUALLY getting the hang of so might get him out on that more now and he can skite about on that, not one of the foldy up ones its one of the proper looking ones with big tyres, he thought it was a bake and planked his backside on it at first

Money can go towards paying overdraft off ,

bike not bake... tooo early

Morning.
littlelamb I think SparklyGothKat tried dyeing her mountain buggy covers and was not very successful-am I right anyone? Appalling memory.
Vigour material is quite coarse and has a 'finish' I remember so think it wouldn't work. Could ask at dry cleaners they sometimes do dyeing.

mamadiva · 02/04/2009 08:42

You could check on Ebay for spare covers for Vigour as a lot of people tend to sell off things like that don't they?!

I would'nt have the guts to do it myself, you could just buy a funky liner and hood to mask it

OP posts:
mamadiva · 02/04/2009 08:47

Are sheepskin liners any good or are they just for babies? Was thinking of getting one for XT.

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 02/04/2009 10:31

Sheepskin liners for any age, I used one when DS1 was 3.

Think it's shoe polish you use to dye buggy fabrics. Don't quote me on that though. Misdee is the one to ask.

mamadiva · 02/04/2009 10:39

shoe polish ?!

I would never have thought of that, wouldve chucked it in a bath full of summit

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2009 10:42

i don't think i'd be brave enough to dye covers.

good idea mama, make him walk lol!!! sorry didn't mean to come across as harsh yesterday, hope you didn't take offence?

Agree sheepskins for any age, not just babies i've got a lovely bn one for the summer for luka and he will be coming up to 2yrs then.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 02/04/2009 10:55

shoe dye maybe but not shoe polish surely?!

I wouldn't risk it, I know i'd make a pigs ear of it and ruin the fecking lot.

Disenchanted3 · 02/04/2009 11:32

its canvas shoe dye

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/04/2009 11:39

Well I just spent quite a lot of my journey round the shops telling DD to 'GET YOUR FEET OFF THE WHEELS!!"

Thats on the volo.

Went to post office [5 ways! Nicola] to pick up recorded delivery thing and it wasn't there. Crap.
Will have to check again tomorrow.

littlelamb · 02/04/2009 11:42

Hey Dis
Do you really htink a shoe dye would cut it? I am thinking of going for a bright green or red, but I don't want to completely trash it. And will it not just rub off on ds when he sits in it??

mamadiva · 02/04/2009 11:51

I did'nt take offence, I needed a virtual slap Must stop spending money!!!!

Glad it's not just me who has the wheel problem Dunoon it's a PITA! Did look at the XLR but don't think it's actually taller anyway atleast I think it's just wider?!

Bright green Vigour would be nice littlelamb the red ones are quite common. I love the Vigour 4 but DS would be far too big for it

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2009 12:43

Thats ok then

im soooooo tired today, and bored at work!

Disenchanted3 · 02/04/2009 13:19

I know the canvas shoe dye works on MB covers, but they are very ... ummm canvassy?! lol

Im not sure about others, my bee for instance I wouldn't try to dye that because its very synthetic feeling, almost like a dry waxy layer? if that makes sense.

TBH I would just try to find spare covers on ebay and on here, if you try to dye them and it goes wrong then you will have to buy new ones anyway + plus the cost of the dye!

Pebbles I had the money waiting in PP for the bee and the woman never got back to me She said 'I'll let you know tonight as theres 1 other person interested'

But never heard from her. So just have the 1 and its not going anywhere

Just changed my hood on the bee, took the pink off and put red on and my M&P 'strawberry' liner, looks soooo luch! Verrry summery. Will do pics

Am debating whether to sell pink hood and footmuff, I don't know though.

Really do love them put its such a PITA to change hoods and put bee footmuff on that I can't see myself doing it very often, if ever! But want them!!

XTs being picked up today,

lady checked for me and its 2009, target wheels and silver comfort pack

Have ordered damask though! and Mac footmuff.

Am thinking I might sell the BN Mac footmuff though and get an XT one!

Disenchanted3 · 02/04/2009 13:20

Ooof what an essay!

pebbles79 · 02/04/2009 13:28

Dis are you wanting those clothes? It's just that I'm working on Saturday and off to Hastings for my aunts funeral on Monday so tomorrow is the only day I'll have to post them until next Thursday.

Disenchanted3 · 02/04/2009 13:32

Hiya,

I cleared out my PP, but have things up for sale, if someone else wants them in the meantime don't hold them for me, but when I sell something I'll put a note on here.

I do really want the next with tights tho ... DD has it in 0-3 and I love it, its my fave,

actually can i pay you for that one, ill just have to transfer from bank and pay the fees myself!

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2009 13:33

yep i'd get xt one dis!

pebbles79 · 02/04/2009 13:34

I'll keep a hold of them just now then, no point in listing them when I'm not going to be here anyway.

kitkatqueen · 02/04/2009 13:38

Hello crashing in here!
sorry,but whats a bjcm?

Also do any of you knowledgable ladies know much about the kolcraft contours double?? My ds will be 20 mnths when dc4 is due and I really want a rear facer for him and the LO, but am worried he will only be in it for 5 mins.

I had a cosatto duet lite last time ( now selling) but he screamed almost constantly until I bought a rear facing single.

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2009 14:42

Hi kitkatqueen and welcome!

its a baby jogger city mini!! Hth.

there is a lady (techno) who had a kolcraft will email her so she can come and tell you all!

kitkatqueen · 02/04/2009 17:55

Oh, that is fantastic, I am in total dilemma ATM. Thankyou!!!!!

Any words of wisdom appreciated on this one!

sweetkitty · 02/04/2009 19:16
