Hello and welcome!

OP posts:
BexieID · 19/02/2009 22:35

The air buggy looks ok. I'd consider getting a Nipper 360 maybe, but like the Swift now.

nappyaddict · 19/02/2009 22:37

I'm selling one of those Jane's if anyone is interested. Mine's got a white frame though and is the marine colour.

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 22:52

Ive got an air buggy which to be honest is okay BUT they DO NOT hold their money AT ALL....Just after I paid £250 in the sale for mine 2 brand new ones sold on ebay for £116 and £130 (roughly!!!).....Therefore Id only recommend getting one if you are SURE you will keep it as youll never get back what you pay even from kiddicare!!! Also they do come with footmuff and raincover BUT the footmuff is so stiff and horrid that I have never even bothered to use it and my raincover is a devil to fix on-seems a tad small for the buggy!!!Also the seat size is NOWHERE near as big as the mountain buggy, I find it quite slim and my daughters not very big....I think its a case of you get what you pay for (mores the pity!!!) At least with MBs you know you can resell fairly well when you want a change!!!Hope this helps rather than complicates!!!

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 22:53

Also, the wheels on the air buggy look a little 'odd' as they are quite small compared to other similar styles.

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 23:01

Must say my fave 3 wheeler at the min (that Ive tried/owned) is the easywalker sky....I find that VERY easy to push/fold everything really and comes in some lush colours

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 19/02/2009 23:02

nappyaddict, how much posted etc and is it able to fold with one hand? Have you any pics?

nappyaddict · 19/02/2009 23:19

I took all the covers off to wash it so I only took pics of the scratch on the frame. they're on here but i can take some more if you're interested. I only want £85 delivered.

Disenchanted3 · 19/02/2009 23:50

SOMEONE MUST WANT MY PRAMETTE???

nappyaddict · 20/02/2009 00:31

With the P&T you know if you use the cocoon underneath which seat is on the top the original seat or the doubles seat?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 20/02/2009 07:42

The doubles seat goes on top when in newborn mode.

Thanks nappyaddict but going to leave it, I thought about it in bed last night and definitely have my heart set on a black bjcm - does anyone else over obsess when trying to get hold of a certain pushchair or is that just me who wakes up in the night thinking about it

MrsMagooo · 20/02/2009 08:02

TOMP you're preaching to the choir, I've had my heart set on a black BJCM for literally weeks & weeks now, last month they were out of stock EVERYWHERE so I ended up buying my Skate instead lol! So building up my funds again for new (had another 2 card orders last night so going well) have enough for good priced 2nd hand though

nicolamumof3 · 20/02/2009 08:28

morning all, deffo discounted the air buggy! i think its the mb i really want although do like the jane too, i deffo don't need another buggy type, just like the continuous handle and the lush fabrics!

dis i would have your pramette in an instant if had a smaller baby, love that colour. it will sell hang in there.

nappyaddict · 20/02/2009 08:33

My friend wants to know if you put the doubles seat on the bottom can you recline the top seat (even if only a little bit and not fully)

nicolamumof3 · 20/02/2009 08:37

you can recline the top seat a little bit, depends of the size of the child underneath as the seat back goes directly back onto them/their face iykwim? hth nappy?

decided yet on your xlr/obaby?

nappyaddict · 20/02/2009 08:39

no lol. tried my friend's quest (as you said it was similar to obaby) and not keen on that though.

Is Obaby heavier to push than quest and xlr or just quest?

nicolamumof3 · 20/02/2009 08:42

no its not heavier than xlr i have only used the obaby once, maybe i should take it out again today!

nappyaddict · 20/02/2009 08:43

Yes you should just for my research purposes

Hmmm so XLR is heavier to push than Obaby and more expensive .... but then it has that lovely big seat.

nicolamumof3 · 20/02/2009 09:32

yes it does, and nice tilting hood, i wouldn't really say either was massively heavy tbh they are both v.nice to push. pluses over obaby are seat size, tilting hood, viewing window, seat liners thats about it i think?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 20/02/2009 09:42

MrsM have you seen the silver/black city classic one on Pramaholics? She's reduced it by a tenner now.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/02/2009 10:10

Morning.
Waiting in on the Vit. DD3 kindly woke us up by throwing up in our bed this morning. Think it was phlegm but definitly had yesterday's carrot in there. Sorry bit TMI.
Don't talk of all these new pushchair plans. I will have to cover my ears.

Poshbugs must be busy. I have had no response to my e-mail. Either she is just going ahead and making the hood, without payment or I will eventualy get an invoice and then things will move. Waiting is such a bore.

I have TOMP but it's the CM I'm after as opposed to the CC

carrielou2007 · 20/02/2009 10:18

Morning.

Where is this other pramaholics I am hearing about???

Nicola can you tell me about your maclaren bag?? I have a pliko one and it's huge. I stuffed our coats in it yet it still didn't protect the xt and it now has a chip out of one of the handles (fuming!!!). Is the maclaren one padded or any better? Think it also has wheels? Trying to get through airport with it across me (very wide!!) and hand luggage holding dd's hand and pulling a suitcase was going do-lally!!

lillypie · 20/02/2009 10:21

Hi Carrie did you have a good time?

carrielou2007 · 20/02/2009 10:27

Hi Lillypie, lovely thank you. Dd's face when we went on it's a small world left me in floods of tears she was so excited (at wooden puppets??!!!!!)

She hated Mickey mouse though and hid behind me when we met him!!

How's the potty training going??

lillypie · 20/02/2009 10:36

Aww that's so sweet

Potty training a breeze!!Only wearing nappies at night
