Disenchanted that was LOL. i never thought that
i think i will venture out to see them in rl, MrsM. Have you bought one now MrsM? i know you were after one.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/02/2009 18:59

pmsl Dis, dirty girl

I stripped all the covers off to see what it could look like if I bought the carrycot to go on the BJCM - reminds me of a Zapp with just the carseat on.

Diva - It's a really nice buggy, I only bought it for the fold on it tbh, and was expecting to not really like it all that much but just suffer. Now I am more than happy to have this as my main pram - haven't even used the P&T and am considering selling that for a twin BJCM, that's how much I like it!!

While stripping it off I washed it as I went and got my girl mindee doing the same with her dolly buggy too, very sweet, I might buy a mini chunkle for that she is a bad influence though, she saw me drooling at the Skate and told me I should buy one! Another future pramhun in the making

I said I'd send my hood to Sarah to measure for possibibilty of making BJCM hoods, but the rods don't appear to come out, so would need to be cut off and not willing to do that

MrsMagooo · 27/02/2009 19:09

Heather at Poshbugs makes hoods without needing to cut them off, she was the first to make them.

Diva, I haven't yet but do have dibs on one so in no rush as will probably wait it & get that one

DivamakesKimchi · 27/02/2009 19:12

did you get from mn? onelittlelion coing over soon, so im going to test drive it

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/02/2009 19:23

Hi MrsM howya? Yup I know Heather does them.

SparklyGothKat · 27/02/2009 19:28

FMTD, the hood can be washed, but there is a rod in the middle, I make a slight slit in the fabric on the inside and slide the rod out.

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/02/2009 20:01

SKG how do you get the hood off. My MB has a metal bar that slots into the hood fitting on frame. I have tried pulling these out but not too hard and no luck. The fitting on the frame has a hole in the middle-not a screw, does it undo there?

bjcm on ebay ending in 25 min

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 21:05

I wish they did a pink BJCM!

SparklyGothKat · 27/02/2009 21:14

FMTD Pull it hard on one side and it will come out, then pull out other side

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/02/2009 21:21

You can get a City Classic in pink? any good?

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 21:22

I'd prefer the smaller one, although the classic looks nice if you wanted it for a main pushchair.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/02/2009 21:24

how about getting BJCM in black and then pinking it up instead with accessories? Black has better resale too ;)

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 21:26

Oh believe me, I've thought about it lol! Have already spent over £100 customising the pushchairs I have though so I think my DH might go mad, lol!

DivamakesKimchi · 27/02/2009 21:46

im excited someone offered bjcm for 80 plus postage. im awaiting for photos now.
is it sounds ok for bjcm?

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 22:03

Sounds good, especially if it's a black one.

DivamakesKimchi · 27/02/2009 22:06

just checked she said it was balck and red. n ot seen photos yet

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/02/2009 22:07

Slightly off topic here but those of you with boy's which of these would you buy if any?

1

2

3

4

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 22:26

Maybe number 2

BexieID · 27/02/2009 22:28

No 2, although Tom loves stars.

DivamakesKimchi · 27/02/2009 22:29

2,too

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/02/2009 22:34

def 2 and possibly 4

Diva - the black and red is less pimpable but if you are more bothered about the functionality of the pushchair then go for it

I paid £92 plus postage for mine and thought that was a bargain so yes £80 sounds v good esp if barely used?

DivamakesKimchi · 27/02/2009 22:47

tomp, thans for that, no photos yet. not sure, but excited. silly i know.
i think 4 is ok, not too pinky. i like oranges red purple on boys

pebbles79 · 27/02/2009 22:52

Wow, I see there's a few on here north of the border like me! It's normally hard to find boards with so many scots, lol!
