Sandpit from Tchibo

I got sent a Tchibo catalogue through the post last week and in it they have a fantastic sandpit where the lid folds bak to form 2 benches. Having looked via Google, it's a bargain.

Why can't I find it on their website?? I much prefer ordering online as I hate phoning up

I saw it in the catalogue - it's fantastic, isn't it? Very tempted.

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 09:34

Cheapest I've seen it elsewhere is £75! I have to havet his sandpit. Might have to grit my teeth and phone. Odd that it's not on the website though

You need a square of weed supressing membrane stiff to go underneath it.

Oh now that's just what I am looking for. how big is it?????

It's not on the website!

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 10:11

It's this one but has a blue fabric awning (two metal poles support it plus guy ropes).

is it 49.90 for the pit, awning and everything?

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 10:15

Yes! I can't quite believe it TBH.

120cm x 120cm, height 24cm, awning 200cm x 124 cm, comes with metal poles, guy ropes ans plastic tent pegs.

It has no base so you will nees a weed supressinng membrane to let the sand drain and keep weeds/worms out.

When I got my catalogue I thought it was so fab I nearly bought one even though my children are too old for sandpits

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 10:20

DSs are 6 and 4 and still like playing with the little ELC plastic one but it's too small for them. Thought they'd actually get some good use out of this as a fighting arena for Power Rangers, Turtles etc

Believe me, if I could have squished 10 year old ds into it I would have

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 10:26

He could probably sit in it no problem. Not much room to do anything else mind you but you wouldn't need much sand.

bossykate · 06/04/2005 10:41

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 11:29
