Sandpit from Tchibo

I got sent a Tchibo catalogue through the post last week and in it they have a fantastic sandpit where the lid folds bak to form 2 benches. Having looked via Google, it's a bargain.

Why can't I find it on their website?? I much prefer ordering online as I hate phoning up

thanks

anchovies · 06/04/2005 11:33

oh no now I'm going to have to order one too! Bet they wont know what's hit them!

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 11:33

Tescos sold paysand last year too. Not sure how many bags this will need though!! Probably need to find a bulk supplier.

playsand even.

Now, how can I hide this sandpit from DH?

Don't hide it. Give him a cocktail to sip, put some waves-lapping music on in the background, a knotted hanky on his head, roll his trouserlegs up and tell him he's on the beach

anchovies · 06/04/2005 11:36

I saw playsand in my tescos this morning, but think you may be right about needing alot of it, bags were very small!

Rough calculations based on 50kg per m2 for a depth of 5cm gives 72kg of sand. Or for double depth 144kg

Can't you take your sandpit back, Pamina?

Have a look at the thread called "what's the most daring" or something. It's about returning stuff you've already used.

Some of the stories on there are appalling. Makes returning a sandpit look like nothing.

Anyway, I'm sure your sandpit will be much appreciated. Even if it doesn't have an awning and fold away beches

You can consider it punishment for introducing me to Tchibo. I mean, that sandpit looks great but did I really need a self adhesive coffee filter holder??

No, they still love playing in sand but the current sandpit is a weeny one. This one's going down the end of our garden in the designated "kiddy bit". It's a long way from the back door so any sand should have bene shed by then.

Blossomhill · 06/04/2005 15:43

You never grow out of sand Cod. I still build castles now

SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 15:43

There were many more things I didn't buy, Pamina

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 06/04/2005 15:46

I@m trying to persuade DH we need either this or this to complete the Kiddie Section of the garden.
