she's paid for delivery. but she's very very near me. would be much cheaper for her to collect. its less than 10 miles away??so will wait and book courier for monday. it took her 3 days to accept counter offer. lol. so perhaps she'll take 3 days to check her mail.

pushchair · 22/01/2009 15:33

Oh that one how bizarre Some people do just seem to check e-mail intermittently[sp]

elmoandella · 22/01/2009 15:36

whats this

pushchair · 22/01/2009 15:44

Is that safety first written on front?

Maclaren · 22/01/2009 16:11

looks like it on the basket.

Um yep the scoots handle moces back and forth but in facing you mode it means the big wheels are at the front and I think they might be fixed

so black dazzle or xt?????

i wish the xt came with a comfort pack why's it so expensive?

MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 16:24

Afternoon all,

Took DS for his jabs this afternoon - he is not a happy bunny love him

Elmo frustrating when people don't get in touch - I'm still waiting to hear from a buyer who bought & paid for a pick up only item on the 19th Dec

I'm so frustrated at not being able to order my BJCM

MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 16:25

Nicola I would personally opt for the black ST as you know the quality is good - not heard fab things about the Dazzle but again think that one is a marmite pram

Disenchanted3 · 22/01/2009 16:29

i pushed a dazzle in mothercare yesterday.

it felt like a toy pram, sooo plasticy.

felt shite.

Maclaren · 22/01/2009 16:30

Saw a new black XT on gumtree yesterday for £100 emailed the lady but it had gone funny that! I would go for the XT and keep the candy strip pack think that would look really nice

OP posts:
MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 16:35

OOooo yes it would!!

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 16:57

i've just sold it with the candy pack, really gutted should have kept the candy pack now

hopefully it won't be too long til the new comfort packs are out! and i will be using with my new zorbit footmuff which won't match the stripe comfort pack anyway. phew thats cheered me up. i rang that lesters babycare who were selling fo £165 spoke to a nice lady there they sound like a real shop/company

Hi Star I wouldn't advise it before 6 months - only because the front seat is very upright & I found DS was very uncomfy (he came out of cocoon at 5 months) as you can't really recline it whilst using the doubles seat too IYKWIM?

Nicola glad you sold it though - so going to order your XT?? Don't forget Kiddicare price match!

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 17:26

starlight welcome to the pram shed! your 4m old would be fine in main seat fully reclined, but then you wouldn't be able to use doubles seat (only ok if fully upright or only reclined a tiny bit)

don't think kiddicare have them in stock tho mrs.m?

BexieID · 22/01/2009 17:32

Thats clarified something as i'll probably end up having to get a P&T when I have another as I can't see Tom wanting to walk far or use a buggyboard! He is such a cautious little boy and doesn't even go on a ride-on toys!

LukeyMasonsMummy · 22/01/2009 17:33

Are there any bugaboo experts in here?
I have had a bugaboo cameleon chassis (newer version) arrive today (second hand) & the left hand side of the handlebar doesn't lock into place properly & the button gets stuck in. I can get the button to come out again but still can not get it to lock into position.
I was wondering if anybody knows how I could fix this? Or indeed how I could go about getting it fixed by a Pram servicer?
I have e-mailed Bugaboo for some advice & received an auto reply saying that they're short staffed and I will get an answer just maybe not that quick. (I can't find a number for them)

Any suggestions?
Thank-you

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 17:35

Nicola Order today/tomorrow & it'll arrive Monday

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 17:44

personally i would buy new as there are so many offers on atm. mothercare had them on offer and kiddicare have the camo ones at £299 with doubles and cocoon.

i have the blue camo and i i love got it when my youngest was 13m i so wish i'd had it sooner as a dream to push with my two lumps in who are now 3yr and 18m.

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 17:45

Thanks mrs.m, i've asked them to price match!

MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 17:46

Star I use my P&T pretty much everyday with my yongest (5 and a half months) in doubles seat, I have toys attached to the back of the main seat to keep him amused but he doesn't have a bad view in the back & is really happy in there

You can get some good deals on new ones if you look around enough

MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 17:48

Nicola you have to buy first then send them an email with a link to the cheaper one & then they refund you the difference

Umlellala · 22/01/2009 17:51

Maclaren thanks, have researched the Skoot/Scoot and the Venezia and the Venezia seems to go very cheaply on ebay, also the M&P prams have the toddler step which looks fab. Someone is offering to sell me their Venezia on here... hurrah!

Dh is gonna have a look at the icandy too but am now getting excited about new pram
