I went into early labout at 36 weeks with Tom how was breach until then they think him being such a lump and turning did something to my back and gave false labour signs saying that I was having contractions and the MW told me I would have my baby in the next few hours 4 1/2 weeks later he arrived lol! oh are you selling a jane nest? just waiting on the womene with the Jane to get back to me on when I can collect I have a feeling she wanted more for it its only 6 months old and I won it for £82 with the changing bag! Stirling pram centre website is rubbish and was down last time I looked anyway. I rang them and they are very helpful. Can't think who bought the one off ebay I thought the co. looked dodgy but they had no problem and got theirs before me and I had ordered sooner.

Maclaren · 22/01/2009 11:52

OP posts:
Maclaren · 22/01/2009 11:55

Hello all, well, I could cry. Was trying to save money with my icandy but surprise, surprise the seats now tippewd back and the front wheel sticks (though seems to sort itself out asfter being fixed for a bit). Just like all the reviews said. Could kick myself for getting an old model - and I really like it! So anyway, can someone recommend me a cheap second-hand pushchair that I can look out for - need rear-facing but know it won't be super-light. need to be able to push one-handed and pull up a couple of steps. Folding small not important. Is the Pliko rear-facing? Someone mentioned a Jane Powertrack but am I gonna get fleeced again? (though to be fair think the seller had had no probs - has been fine for couple months)

So, so gutted.

Maclaren · 22/01/2009 14:29

Um the pliko isnt rear facing and neither is the Jane powertrack.

rear facing

Scoot M&P
Switch M&P
Buzz Quinny
Bugaboo frog, cam, gecko
loola bebe confort
Britax Vigour 4

Disenchanted3 · 22/01/2009 14:43

Im really not happy with this one and am ging to ask for a full refund and return.

I just cant push a scruffy buggy

elmoandella · 22/01/2009 15:10

afternoon all. not heard from jane buyer. email keeps coming back rejected when i try and do it personally. tried contacting thru ebay but no heard from them either?? think i should just arrange courier?? or give them a day or so more incase they would rather collect?

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 15:10

disenchanted i think i've sold it im afraid but will let you know as soon as i know. just had a lady email who had asked about it yesterday saying she wants it and wants to organise payment.

thats a shame about your techno, have you had the covers off and washed them as the maclaren ones go in the machine?

Disenchanted3 · 22/01/2009 15:14

bloody hell, im having no luck.

its clean now but all reflective stuffs come off and is a bit rickity.

elmoandella · 22/01/2009 15:17

i seen an xt in mothercare today. 2008 model being advertised as "maclaren xt black""reduced £30 to £135"

go inside to see it's the grey with black comfort pack. i almost complained. till i realised i would look like a complete nut. but i'm still at their obvious miselling.

nicolamumof3 · 22/01/2009 15:20

oh what a shame, £40 was a v.good price tho with the footmuff are you going to get a refund then?

im just waiting to hear back from other mnetter said she definitely wants it and had some more ebay offers but if the mnetter changes her mind its yours. take it you just want the pushchair no acc's? or the whole lot?

elmo what did the buyer say after she won item? did she mention collection? strange she hasn't got in touch tho as you would think she would be keen to arrange.

im still undecided whether to get dazzle or black xt. im bit gutted xt comes with no comfort pack at all. i quite fancy an orange one may check out ebay!
