Triumph was a diff one, first one lady went back on the price and I wouldn't agree to pay her more.

I love my dazzle, hood is huge, weighs about the same as xt (about 7kg?) easy to push one handed and it just has that nice 'feel' compared to my plain black maclaren quest.

npg1 mothercare 3 wheelers are fine to run with but pretty heavy. M and P 03 simlar, very easy to push with one finger but heavy though I took mine of road tons (though dd only small then). Would say MB (still lusting after one for running!!)

debbie102 · 21/01/2009 21:31

nicola, i wasnt happy with the way they had worn down tbh they wernt bad think it was just my imagination so i complained and complained as i do and they agreeed to collect and replace withnew ones lol. just ima fussy cow lol. hoods are big as well. lol

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 21:35

get a really cheap old red frame mb

just for the running. then if it gets trashed or muddy it's not a problem. as with the running anything nicer will be buggered and the mud and grit will play havoc with the wheels and fabrics. this one with fixed wheel is good for running as it wont bugger off in wrong direction when you hit a bump.

but for a really goot run you need a jogger

note the massive wheels making it easier to keep a nice pace and the buggy will keep up with you much easier.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:36

why you selling debbie if you don't mind me asking you had since new then? i've always fancied trying one!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 21:37

Evening all

Elmo glad you got your parcel ok - did you pressie arrive unbroken? Was worried it would get smashed It's only a wee something but thought new house, new start, new photo

Nicola - O forgot what I was going to say lol!!!!

Carrie Eeeewwwww at the grubby Triumph - it's beyond me how can some people can let their prams get in that state!!

Mary PMSL @ Troller!!

NPG1 I had a Mothercare UDE & LOVED it - only sold it as didn't rear face - lovely to push/steer, nive big basket/seat/hood & handle height was good too!!

Right feeling sick as dog (my sister always makes me feel car sick for some reason - well not my sister just her dribing lol!!) so off to bedski!

Nighty night all Xx

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 21:41

arrived safe and well. will hunt down a photo for it. thinking i might take a nice new one. as you say. new house. new photo.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:43

night mrs.m hope you feel better.

so dazzle or black techno xt????

pushchair · 21/01/2009 21:44

Hi did I buy something off anyone here. Got an e-mail to say parcel on its way but have forgotten who it is-£5.05?

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 21:49

wait till i get xt. as i'm worried about this "satin finish" handles?? is that posh talk for foam??

then i can tell you if it's any good. coz if you dont like it you will defo lose mega bucks on it as it's at such a premium for a new one just now.

npg1 · 21/01/2009 21:54

elmo, that MB is exactly what i am looking for. Why is it so cheap? How much do you think it will go for? Now you got me thinking!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:55

elmo they won't be foam no way, they will be the same old xt handles with a bit of metal on the end i bet!!

oh no they should be sticky as just plastic aren't they on the pliko? lots of fairy liquid maybe?

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 22:01

just because its a really old model. but those terrain mb's take a real beating and still keep going. that one looks ok. not got any visible rusting on wheels in photo's from quick look i took.

but i think fabrics have been replaced as the red ones original come with green covers

which is a good thing as the old ones would have been manky.

the rust on basket got be removed with someelbow grease.

you might need to get some new wheels

yep try the fairy liquid as i've heard that works on the maclaren techno handles when they go all tacky.

npg1 · 21/01/2009 22:15

Just been looking on net and found jane power something?! for £60. Whats this buggy like for power walking and with a 2.5yr old in? Looks very nice from pictures.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 22:18

powertrack? nice big seat. i want to try a jane!

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 22:21

powertrack. it's older version of the jane slalom. better for your needs as fabrics aren't as padded and more of a canvas type material usually. the newer slalom looks so good you will worry about ruining it. but some really old ones had problems with front wheel. if you can check it out in person then it's worth a look. amazingly light to push. and seat is huuuuuge. will last for ages. to check the wheel is ok just give it a wee push around and turn it. it should turn in a 50p piece iykwim and be incredibly light. you could push with 1 finger even with toddler in it.

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 22:22

pushchair had a powertrack with a dodgy wheel. she'll be able to describe what a dodgy front wheel feels like.

npg1 · 21/01/2009 22:23

yes thats it! looks very nice and looks sturdy. have emailed to see!

npg1 · 21/01/2009 22:25

ok thanks. Advert stated its barely been used. yes I know what you mean about the looks and damaging the fabric! They do look good. Thanks

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 22:28

i wonder when your new xt is going to come i want a review on it! i wonder when mine is going to sell.
very tempted by dazzle tho now. but am thinking xt may be better for hols?? can't decide. do like the black frame tho on the dazzle.

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 22:30

black xt is black on black to though......

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 22:31
