Hope you all had a nice day been to the MIL they have the heating up so high I always feel sleepy lol!

OP posts:

baths done. kids still bugging me. but distracted them with strawberries and goodies crisps.

sold forest for £208. but buyer in falkirk. asked her if she wants to collect rather post as she's so close and i'll refund her courier fees. saves me waiting in on courier.

got the black xt from boots with the double points cashback and free delivery. wont get it till tues as i've been really sensible and insisting on stivking to free delivery.

was v v v v tempted to get it from kiddicare so i could have it before weekend. but i was a good girl and took the cheaper option and i'll wait .

wasn't bad. i got a mooncup too and other things to try out(tmi ??) so i'm counting all my points i've earned as coming off my xt. got it for £155 once i take cashback i'll get back.

which i feel is not a bad price.

i was soooooo tempted to spend £195 and get it next day from kiddicare

mrsm -you look lovely in photo's.got my wee parcel today. i came out the door and elmo was saying "there's a man at the window." postie was standing there making faces at lo's obviously waiting on me coming thru to check on them to signal a parcel

we're going to do the pom pom things next tues while waiting in on courier.

nicola - ooooh i had visions of you at borttom of swimming pool pushing p&t with snorkel on

techno - shame about 4 seasons. i'd give it a few weeks then perhaps sell it in pieces. there's so many bits too it. you'll probably make what your asking as seperates. i know it'll be a pita posting seperate. but you might possible get big bits on here without fees. i bet someone would pay good money for just pushchair as its in such fab condition. worth sticking a wee advert here and see what the interest is.

maclaren - i'm so jealous of your kiddicare access

and whoever asked - exdp has admitted today that he cant look after both dc at once on his own. says he will have to do it with someone to help. or just take one at a time.which in april when elmo goes to nursery will be more possible. he can take ella perhaps most days and i'll get back to work.

and yeeeeeeeeeeeah housing allowance has been accepted. just need to get exdp to pay maintenece and i can stop scrounging and get a job. was advised not to look for work until i had that sorted as exdp has such a high salary, they will be able to work out how many hours would be best for me. my sister works for benefits too and she was informing me for the most people 16-20 hours are the magic numbers. but if my maintenence is too high i might not get anything ftom government and i'd be as well going back to work full time.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 19:43

elmo boots normally deliver quicker than they say! so it might even come monday. how many points did you get on it then as were they doing extra than the 15.20? that works out really good i think i will order mine from them then.

forget to say anyone going away got lots of ambre solaire and loreal solait sun cream in boots today for a pound! bargain. and few bits of toys in their 75% sale yesterday one of those wooden magnetic thomas' for less than £3! that goes away in xmas 09 cupboard lol!
not heard back from ebay buyer since i said not sure where receipt is and not sure if warranty transferable. if she says anymore about it i will point out im not a shop !

had random email from mnetter about it though as well?? i think it will sell in next few days.

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 19:45

i ordered other bits and pieces and had the points from them. the xt on it own is 1520 points back i think iirc.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 19:47

i wonder if they are doing any extra points? there was so many about before xmas, ie spend £50 get a 1000 probably not now. thats what i did with the maclaren lulu. got about £35 off in points. which reminds me must get that packed up and ready for courier tomorrow that i still haven't booked! woops.

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 20:10

i couldn't find any others. and i didn't have any of those vouvhers they send thru the doors. i did have some but binned them in the move. think it was spend £50 and get some points.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 20:11

NorktasticNinja · 21/01/2009 20:59

debbie102 · 21/01/2009 20:59

dazzle seat is hugh i was suprised how big it was tbh, and the harness actually fits round a child not like the pop i found them very very small. or maybe josh just an extra big kid lol.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:00

i would be interested in pics then possibly debbie would be another one to try!

nork - techno has a kolcraft which is similar. techno where are you????

carrielou2007 · 21/01/2009 21:10

Evening all.

Nicola I have a dazzle black on black and the seats are really big, it's fab, I love mine and stopping me getting a black xt (Elmo still want first dibbs though!!)

Went to look at a maclaren triuph in raspberry pink today described as 'hardly used' condition and it was not that colour and FILTHY!! I mean not just well used I mean the covers were grey with dirt, I didn't know where to look!!

Umlellala · 21/01/2009 21:10

hello y'all, am a lurker still on the pushchair threads (can't believe a year ago I really didn't 'get' the pushchair thing, now I trawl ebay and gumtree going 'oooooooh'.).

Coupla things - I know no-one wants my Othello (it's a good lightweight, small, double, shame it's come right down in price though... )
but is anyone selling a buggy board for less than £25 delivered?

Also nicola, congratulations! My sister has just made all the wedding stationery for a friend - she does it as a hobby, so cheap, but her degree is in Design so they are good. Her website is www.icklesis.etsy.com, if you haven't sorted anything yet...

SparklyGothKat · 21/01/2009 21:12

bexie, its the burnt orange one, really lovely colour but I need something smaller (hated the zapp though) Just wanting what I paid back really which was £150, its a reconditioned one, but apart from a mark on the handle bar holder, its in excellent condition with BN wheels.

elmoandella · 21/01/2009 21:16

hi umlellala. come in and shut shed door it's freezing. we'll get the portable gas fire on.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:19

debbie how come silvercross are putting new wheels on then? am v.interested whats the hood like? only ask as would be taking on hols and need a good large hood thats why i like xt with tilting hood. if i get dazzle then theres no black xt for me

4andnotout · 21/01/2009 21:19

Umlellala if it were pink i would have snapped it up but im determined to have a pink one!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:21

umlella will defo take a look at that site for sure thanks!

carrie can't believe that about the triumph i thought it was described as nearly new??

npg1 · 21/01/2009 21:22

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a good sturdy 3 wheeler for a 2.5yr old that I can walk with a run with please that wont cost the earth!

I like phil and teds
Quinny freestyle
Jane (not sure what it's called)
MB (but know too expensive)
Land rover (again prob too much)

Any reviews on these please. Would a mothercare 3 wheeler do the job?

Thanks ladies!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 21:25

i love my p&t is really fab. like the look of the quinny freestyles not sure what they go for?

npg1 · 21/01/2009 21:28

Had a quick look earlier, about £150 ish. I have abug frog and maclaren and a crappy mac 3 wheeler which I would dump! Not sure I can justify a new 3 wheeler, although would LOve a phil and teds!
