Are these bags 'chavy' ?

Hi , I was going to buy one of these bags for my birthday but my daughter (22) says they look Chavy ! what do you think ?

If they coach one didn’t have a hideous large gold chain on it would be fine.

I don’t like describing things as chavy, but I’d say they look cheap.

I think people should have what they like. I agree with @Flipitnreverseitthat the plain one would be better without the chain.

I don’t like logos on things as a rule. I’ve got a coach bag and I always make sure the name is not facing outwards so I definitely wouldn’t get one covered in logos.

I don't think Coach is a chavy brand. Have you seen Strathberry bags OP? British and elegant.

Look at Lana, Willow, Juliet and Brooklyn bags by coach.

My 21 year old loves her bag from Russell & Bromley. Very much NOT chavvy! might be worth checking them out?

Not chavy necessarily but very bland and boring. Although the chain on the left hand bag looks like something I’ve seen certain types of people wearing

Yes I agree. I think there are some nicer Coach bags.

I think the shape is old hat. The first one is a bit tacky with the decorative chain and buckle. Not for me.

The chain spoils it, both look cheap but won't be cheap either. There are much nicer, classier looking bags out there.

The first one is more, second one is ok.
