In terms of pressies my DS (4) loved his Tank Engine umbrella much more than his LeapPad !
My dad was over the moon with his microwave slippers (I did think that he might refuse to wear them !)

Can we also have "What was the biggest disappointment" too - I'd vote for the Candy Land game - I could have made a better one up !

DSs loved the Kid Knex DS2 (3.75) got. Played with more than the "proper" Knex DS1 (5.75) got.

Not sure for DD as she seems to like everything she has a lot, and some things she is only just getting round to exploring. The main bits she has played with most so far are her VTech VSmile, Leappad, AquaDraw, ELC Palace, Easel, Cabbage Patch Kid and her Belle dress. Plus lots more really.

DS2 (5)'s big hit was a loop-the-loop car track - £6.50 from Tescos!

(Did you get a loop-the-loop car track Coddy? I seem to remember you talking about one. Did it go down well?)

DS1 was best pleased with his £10 WHS voucher which he spent in the sales on stacks and stacks of half price junk

Flatmouse - you are identical to me! Peter Pan outfit was worn all day by my 4½ ds and my 22 month dd prefered a tub of plastic tea things over everything else!

Quite predictably, for both ds1 and ds2 it's the additions to the Thomas train track!!! Don't actually know why I bothered with anything else.

Groovy girls stuff is loved (as expected) but she was ecstatic with some anatomy/neuroscience/physiology colouring books (you know the kind medical students have) from her godfather. She's not yet 4 and obsessed with brains and bones....I'm not worried, honest.

ML - I've got a Physiology Colouring Book from my student days (you'll be surprised to hear my degree was in Physiology and pharmacology!).

Loved it too and I was in my early 20's!! Might dig it out again actually as there were def pages I didn't get to!

Wow, I like the sound of them.......colouring in for grown up, excellent!

Favs in our house.
Dh- Timewaster letters book.
Ds1-Terrain twister is good, excellent on water.
Ds2-Micro scooter was HUGE hit, and small lego basket ball.
Ds3-ELc wooden car thingy prob the fav but so many bits and bots it's hard to say.

They all got far too much so it's really hard to say for sure.

dd (2): Little people house from auntie and Happyland house from us together with Happy Land train set. Played with them constantly. Baby Annabel which she said she wanted so badly has hardly been touched.

Large box of matchbox-type cars - 10 quid, and it's the only thing he plays with.

Army outfit, army models, and gun (sorry) for 5 year old. No surprise, he's army mad.

Cricket bat and fifa 2005 xbox game for 10 year old.

Both like their new bikes, but haven't used them much due to a few minor technical glitches and more importantly, santa forgot to get a bike rack to we can't transport them in the car.
