Nissan Qashqai

We have just put a deposit down on a 17 plate Qashqai and now read some horror stories about them. Anyone got one?

We’re looking for a bigger car and it was between the Qashqai and the Tucson.

Have we made the right choice?

Loved mine and DD was mesmerised by the view out of the roof, which I quite enjoyed, too.

I love mine. It's a Tekna model though so it has all mod cons. Definitely has some go. Love its parking camera too. Yes it has a high seating position in the front. When I sat in the back recently (never normally happens!) it felt quite low.
Almost bought a BMW X3 earlier in the year but couldn't bear to leave my parking camera

Bit late to the post now. I bought a Juke and loved it...my dad then bought a Qashquai (also 17 reg) and he loves it.

He's had no issues with his and he's had it a few years now. My Juke however...long story short - at the time...4 year old Juke (66 reg), less than 20,000 miles suffers 'piston slap' - which is a known issue...Turns out it needs a whole new engine...despite it being covered under warranty (and they extended the warranty by 2 years on my engines as they knew it was an issue!) and a known issue Nissan would not consider paying for it. Sadly I sold the car and from my experience, I wouldn't get another Nissan.

My Juke was petrol, my dads Qashqai is diesel.

Definitely has some go.

Lol, compared to a pushbike maybe.
