Which kids' scooters would you recommend?

Hi everyone,

We're making plans to test and review the best scooters on the market (for toddlers and children aged 5+), and we'd love to hear your favourites.

Which scooters have you been impressed by over the last couple of years? And are there any features or plus points that you paid particular attention to when buying one?

Your comments will help us to create a shortlist of scooters to test out and, ultimately, recommend to parents.

Not sure if this is the right age group, but ds2 (aged 10 but the size of your average 13y/o) got a Homcom folding kick scooter for Xmas and loves it. It's very sturdy, it has the right balance between not being flimsy rubbish but also not being too heavy to manoeuvre, ds2 says it is smooth to use, I like the stand, I like that it folds, it is remarkably simple to balance on.

Loved the micro scooter.
