Pencil Help needed: I have a pencil that thinks it's pen. At first I entertained it and dipped it's point in ink - thinking what's the harm - it never really wrote properly as a pen nor a pencil after that, but it kept it happy (it's an old pencil).

But now it's demanding blotting paper, and wants to be adapted to take ink cartridges - I mean that's bloody expensive for a start and still after all that it has a graphite core. I tried attaching an eraser but thats got problems because of the head lead ……..

That multi-function thing (don't know what to call it - has it a name?) doesn't get good reviews unfortunately - seems like all multipurpose gadgets don't work well for any function!
