Im looking to sell a package of jane carrera buggy/matrix carrycot car seat/ aurorra bouncer cradle (all denim/camel tegano) and babybjorn bag (navy to match).

It seems a shame to keep all the other bits sitting somewere for the next yr or more, whilst only using buggy, so I need to replace the buggy bit.

The question is with what? seems silly to replace with a like for like, but Ive looked and my criteria seems to point to similar versions. Im hoping someone might throw some other ideas.

we have this criteria :

budget £120 (might be too little after u read criteria below lol).
colours silver and black , (despite having a girly girl).
Like bugaboo but our wallet doesnt like lol!!
like infinty espirit but it has to be taken apart for car
yes needs to be easily taken down for car and mummy with back problems.
lightweight
thinnish folding
seat must be able to nearly lie flat
hood
rain cover
continuous handle (find them good for one hand, despite the annoyance of having to use hooks). Or are umbrella folds better these days?
oh and may be a tray at handle bar for snacks on the move!!

not asking for much pmsl !!!

Melsy, sorry I just disappeared last night.
I started to feel really sick and dh came home early so I went to bed.

no worries hun , I know how you feel. I hope you are ok today.

ok dhs review of citisport/mirage "its a bit classic" hmm & "it looks just like the one were selling" and "its the same weight , so why re we selling ours again???" lol

So to say today Im confused is an understatement

I suppose it being the same weight doesnt matter to much , as its fairly light and the main reason were selling our carrerr c is to get rid of the whole set together.

I found an Icoo lookie likey on preloved which is stated to be from Germany and is stated to only be 7.5 kg, anyone know if it ???? Id buy the one on preloved but its bright blinkin electric blue and has a carry cot , which I dont need. Might start a thread to find out what brand it is.

I think I need mental help , not so much buggy help now !!! Im like a machine about to explode!

ooh just found it in navy at boots Jan blue combi dash

not as good as the citisport on handling and it does take a degree in engineering/origami to fold it up especially if still holding the baby!
but having said that i have one, it fits nicely in the boot for emergencies, but i don't use it very often at all so can't be sure about how it would cope!

melsy · 18/04/2007 12:14

I'm on a similar mission at the mo-saw a Jane Pro Energy yesterday-that might be good? Want to hear anyones thoughts

nearlythere · 18/04/2007 12:23

melsy i'm in the process of dismantling a combi dash to check it out- i forgot that there was one deep in the stock room (part of a travel system)

i'll let you know what i think in a minute- i can't actually remember ever having used the one in the bott, i think hub has but not sure!

melsy · 18/04/2007 13:34

ahh sammysam , come join me in my madness , I havent got long now my loved carerra c only has 3days left on ebay , then what do do eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. poor dd will look so tiny in the quest in the meantime.

nearlythree , ahhh I forgot I read you are in retail , cool. That will be great with the info.

Ive found this easy fold . Just wanted to know if this reclines and has a bumber bar ???

OP posts:
nearlythere · 18/04/2007 14:55

babystyle easy fold hasn't really been through the mill yet as its so new out- can't tell you how its going to cope in six months time but it doesn't have a bumper bar and only has a slight recline!

on the combi front i was quite impressed as long as you don't have to hold the baby whilst folding it- we always test for one hand foldability whilst holding a glass of water and with this one i got tangled in it then got soaked!!! nice buggy though- but still don't think its up there with the citisport, it doesn't have adjustable handles and feels a bit rickety!

melsy · 18/04/2007 22:06

Thank you nearly three, I have never ever ever been so indecisive as I am now.

I think everything is pointing to de-listing my Jane carerra for now, as I need the mirage version of the Graco (I dont like their little baby legs hanging off the edge, like many of the models that are lighter) and the weights are the same as my Jane .

Im finding compromise is a tricky thing and I need time to have a really good look around 1st as Im out of the country next week!!!

melsy · 18/04/2007 22:11

Gawd sorry sorry nearly three, that sentance after thanking you was not meant as an inference that the confusion lies at your door. You and the others have been amazingly patient and helpful.
