ok mad buggy people , need buggy choosing help

Im looking to sell a package of jane carrera buggy/matrix carrycot car seat/ aurorra bouncer cradle (all denim/camel tegano) and babybjorn bag (navy to match).

It seems a shame to keep all the other bits sitting somewere for the next yr or more, whilst only using buggy, so I need to replace the buggy bit.

The question is with what? seems silly to replace with a like for like, but Ive looked and my criteria seems to point to similar versions. Im hoping someone might throw some other ideas.

we have this criteria :

budget £120 (might be too little after u read criteria below lol).
colours silver and black , (despite having a girly girl).
Like bugaboo but our wallet doesnt like lol!!
like infinty espirit but it has to be taken apart for car
yes needs to be easily taken down for car and mummy with back problems.
lightweight
thinnish folding
seat must be able to nearly lie flat
hood
rain cover
continuous handle (find them good for one hand, despite the annoyance of having to use hooks). Or are umbrella folds better these days?
oh and may be a tray at handle bar for snacks on the move!!

not asking for much pmsl !!!

Just a sucker for trendy fashiony things is all. > !!!

you really need a bar handle for hand holding and pushing. The techno is fab but not while trying to push with onehand.

I have a techno, a city sport a mamas and papas 3 in one and a phil and teds.

Phil and teds easiest with one hand the mamas and papas is too heavy really.

1dilemma · 17/04/2007 09:46

ahhh
I don't e bay so I'm a bit slow at times .
JL deliver for free don't they ? (only useful if you are in London)

nearlythere · 17/04/2007 09:48

what about the Graco citisport? seems to tick a lot of boxes!

1dilemma · 17/04/2007 09:50

maclaren have a full raicover so I would take it to mean that (but would check). I din't have one but would a loola do? they look nice

melsy · 17/04/2007 09:51

like phil n teds , but my wallet doesnt lol.

Thanx for info mrs Apron (lots of mrs's today !!!)

well look at Graco citisport now.

I need my smelling salts lol This is not good after going to bed with migraine and surrounded by spotty child and wanting baby.

shocking spelling dodgy computer sorry

MrsApron · 17/04/2007 09:54

How tall are you?

melsy · 17/04/2007 09:54

looked at loola 1dilemma , does look good , I have the car seat that goes on it, but again it has umbrella handles , otherwise would have been perfect.

corrr this is difficult withought seeing them all. May be once armed with this info , we can go somewere at the weekend , as long as dd is scabby (nice) and dd2 doesnt get it by then. Awwwww gawd I hope not , will be another 10-12 days at home , so all in all over a MONTH at home, (need sobbing snottily icon here)

sorry waffling , can u tell I have cabin fever.

Citysport nice light easy push, not as comfy as a maclaren(lack of leg rest) but still pretty good.

v v light indeed and easy to push and hand hold. Easy to fold and unfold. but I have long legs and 5' 8" and it is a teeny bit low for me.

melsy · 17/04/2007 09:55

Im a shorty MrsApron only 5'2".

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 17/04/2007 09:56

oh yes, citisport or similar v good for onehanded pushing and fold nice and flat

MrsApron · 17/04/2007 09:58

citysport would be good then. Bear in mind your dd2 is going to get heavier you might want to try both girls in the buggies whilst test driving.

misdee · 17/04/2007 10:00

citysport is good for lighter children, but was hopeless for dd2 when she was a tot as she was hefty. the maclaren triumph was better for her once she hit the weight limit for the citisport

MrsBadger · 17/04/2007 10:07

by the time she's too hefty for the Citisport I guess she'll have usurped melsy's dd1's Quest so it won't be too much of an issue...

misdee · 17/04/2007 10:09

good point!

the citisport is good for one hand fold, one hand steer and pretty impressive basket for a small buggy

melsy · 17/04/2007 10:21

Im sooooooooo confused

are there any citisports that are PLAIN lol, Im really really not into patterns and most have things all over lol. Sorry being a desgin snobbo.

Although it does look like a lighter version of my carrera c , will look at weight online , my carrera is 8kg ish.

search ebay and they should come up with the lists but they usually come in fairly basic designs- search for one in metropolitan if you are looking for black and silver.

ooh, combi dash/flash might be worth a look too

misdee · 17/04/2007 10:25

on no combi are far too small =IMO

melsy · 17/04/2007 10:27

Ive found a First Wheels City Elite Stroller on ebay , is this the same wieght etc as the hauck, looks it , I just really like the look of these.

OP posts:
misdee · 17/04/2007 10:27

melsy · 17/04/2007 10:33
