I was in Baby Gap today and saw a great bargain - a large canvas baby change bag, three different pattens to choose from,( plain, pretty and stripe) complete with changing mat, down from £48.00 to £6.99. I don't know anyone - in the real world at least - who has just given birth, or would need a baby changing bag, but I thought it was such a good bargaian, I'd tell you about it here. These bags were in the Bluewater branch of Baby Gap, but are probably availablr elsewhere.

Here's a suggestion, news of any other bargains we see could be posted here as and when.

Help! Does anyone know the promotional code to get the 10% discount from Early Learning Centre
online? Thanks (there is a voucher in the front of the catalogue but ds has tore the page!!)

Alibubbles · 18/11/2002 21:34

You automatically get 10% off for on line orders. Go to the web site and see!

leese · 19/11/2002 11:18

Another Littlewoods Extra offer - go online and buy something for over £30, type promo code ZQ9777 and get £15 off.

Fionn · 19/11/2002 12:47

rosehip - there's a thread on this. the code is AW2

Rhiannon · 19/11/2002 18:32

leese, just tried to use the Littlewoods code on Baby Annabell but it doesn't work. Is it just for clothes? TIA. R

sister · 19/11/2002 19:15

Leese, Rhiannon, I tried it to on Leappad, didn't accept it.

GillW · 20/11/2002 09:04

£10 off when you spend £20 at John Lewis online (only if you haven't bought online from them before) here

Marina · 20/11/2002 09:57

Thanks for that GillW. As I practically live in John Lewis I've never got round to using their online service, but I just did (and mailed that link to several friends and relations!)

sis · 20/11/2002 13:26

No Marina, I have got squatter's rights at the temple of John Lewis

leese · 20/11/2002 18:19

Sister, and Rhiannon - I've just tried it too, and it's failed, so I've e-mailed them to ask why. Keep you posted

tigermoth · 20/11/2002 18:26

I can feel a great online christmas shopping evening coming on - littlewoods(hopefully) and John Lewis, here I come. Thank you tipsters!

Still no response as yet. The voucher thing just says 'this voucher entitles you to £15 off your next order worth £30 or more placed within the next 14 days from the Littlewoods Extra catalogue...", which to my mind reads, place an order and get £15 off now - not place two orders within the next 14 days and get £15 off the second order..... I'll await a response!

Rhiannon · 21/11/2002 18:44

Have just used the John Lewis.com offer for first time customers. You need to put the promotional code FS102 in the box to get £10 off your order (although delivery is £3.95) it still made Baby Annabel the cheapest around. R

grape · 21/11/2002 18:45

Type in ZQ977 for Littlewoods Extra, instead of ZQ9777. It worked for me.

Not a massive bargain but the Disney Store are giving £5 vouchers for every £5 spent. So if your purchases exceed £30 hang on to the rest of it wait for the assistant to give you the £5 and give her the rest of what you're buying for your instant £5 off.

Rhiannon · 22/11/2002 09:38

Whoops not for every £5 spent, for every £30 spent. Sorry.

leese · 22/11/2002 17:58

Thanks Batters and Grape - interesting! Anyhow, got an e-mail back from them to say they're having trouble with their online promotion codes, so to order the goods and wait until you get them and are satisfied, then e-mail them ([email protected]) to verify you're keeping the purchase, and they will then action the discount! Seems like a long way around a simple route to me - I'm going to try doing what Grape did.

Rhiannon · 27/11/2002 22:30

M&S doing free internet deliveries at the moment.

missdilema · 28/11/2002 09:15

I can't find Per Una range on there.

grommit · 28/11/2002 09:25

Boots are doing 3 for 2 christmas gift sets - great for female relatives

BlueRose · 28/11/2002 14:41

also, i went christmas shopping in boots last night, a 10% off evening. I not only bought 3 for 2 but 10% off too and the points (and extra points over £15) they are practically giving it away. Phone your boots to see which is their 10% off evening.... I was getting presents for £5/£6 for half the price. ooh i love a good bargain!

GillW · 28/11/2002 14:47

10% off night at our store tonight too.
