I was in Baby Gap today and saw a great bargain - a large canvas baby change bag, three different pattens to choose from,( plain, pretty and stripe) complete with changing mat, down from £48.00 to £6.99. I don't know anyone - in the real world at least - who has just given birth, or would need a baby changing bag, but I thought it was such a good bargaian, I'd tell you about it here. These bags were in the Bluewater branch of Baby Gap, but are probably availablr elsewhere.

Here's a suggestion, news of any other bargains we see could be posted here as and when.

Forgive my ignorance, but who or what are ELC? I would love to get the sluglet a swimseat. She tried one out in the local swimming pool last week and her squeals of delight echoed off the walls. I couldn't get her out of it.

Wow, I think there must be a huge baby wipe mountain 'they' are trying to get rid of at the moment!

bundle · 03/09/2002 11:52

thumper, I think it's a bit like the drugs trade, they lull you in with cheap products, get you hooked and then you can't resist them when the price shoots back up. I tinker with damp cotton wool for dd's bottom and flannels for grubby hands/faces ....then I just can't help myself when I see the BOGOFs!

SoupDragon · 03/09/2002 11:58

I buy in bulk when there are BOGOFF offers. Haven't purchased a full price packet of wipes for ages!

Snugs · 03/09/2002 16:41

SoupDragon...me too! BOGOF on Johnsons Wipes at Toys R Us at the moment and on Pampers Wipes at most Safeways from Weds 4th
