OK I need to get something for dh. Budget £40-£100. Something unusual and rather special. I've got him a couple of DVDs, a book, some boxers, and some choccies; but I want a main "you are fantastic" present.

In previous years successful presents have been:
One of those 4x4 driving experiences,
A day spent in the woods with Ray Mears!

Can I have my three suggestions please Cod?

PS I'm so desperate (I've come back empty-handed from shopping three times now) I asked the kids at school. They came up with socks, after-shave, or a belt! I hope you can do better.

LilacBump · 12/12/2005 18:40

for example i bought FIL a pair of washing up gloves with pearls and feathers on them, like the ones kim & aggie have.

ionaming · 12/12/2005 18:41

Haven't had time to read all the latest replies, so apologies if this has already been suggested, but dd will be giving her teacher this for xmas School Dinners for 100 Children

Delivery is within a day or 2, so still (just about!) got time to order.....

Cricket tickets is quite appealing, though I can't actually buy them until February. But I could do him a "voucher" then he could choose what match he wants to see.
I'll investigate some of these. Ta!

For anyone who would like to research who lived in their house try this book
How to Research a London House

I'm getting it for my sister as she lives in a Victorian house and I thought this would be interesting.
