and what pisses me off the most is that apparently, some people were buying them in bulk to sell on on ebay as they thought they would run out of stock ggggggggrrrrrrrrr

Have you tried the Entertainer ???? They are a bit more in there but thats where I managed to get mine from.

nope none left online. Will phone my local store but can't get there till tomorrow anyway. ggrrrr

It's not completely urgent - I don't think she'd be devastated if she didn't get it - I just can't understand why they can't get the demand supply thing right!

For some reason, a lot of those american sites don't want to ship to the UK (is it something to do with duty?).

I will have to look in the stores tomorrow. That's how I found the Erika last year.

Of course, there are loads on ebay (I think someone seems to have a whole truck load of them!).

I've looked on the Mattel site as they do shipping. They have every barbie doll and outfit imaginable but no pegasus head for some reason.

does yours direct you through amazon.com? Mine lets me buy it right up to the last stage when it rejects it because of geographical restrictions.

Nuttie - argos is showing the Thomas Aquadraw as out of stock for delivery but in stock for store reserve and pick up if you can find a store near you. What's your general area?

yes, that's what annoys me. It's not the end of the world if we don't get one but I am beginning to think that Mattel enjoy doing this - they did this with the Erika doll last year - absolutely no-one could get hold of it and the only reason we got it is because we found one that had fallen down the back of a shelf in Woolworths! I mean, it's not even the end of November yet and I imagine if they are out of stock now, they won't replenish till the new year.

Nope, none at Toymaster either.

Was just checking the Argos where my mum lives to see if they had them but I think it's a nationwide sell out isn't it.

The only other thing I can think you could do is to go on Yell.com and get the phone numbers of your biggeest toy stores near you and ring and ask if they know when they are getting more in, if they say they don't know just ask when their deliveries come and go on that day if you can.

Keep checking the backs of those shelves too

To be fair, the toy companies have to decide in about January what their production levels are going to be and they can't predict what's going to be The Toy at Christmas - if they could they would make millions of them so everybody got one and their profits would be sky high!

Do any of you have a Smyths toy shop near you or are they just in Ireland? I saw some last week.. although I suppose they could have sold out now too.
