pink ds is apparently in stock on Amaxon..it says delivery 1/2 weeks? Happened to see it yesterday

Kingston officially has none left (john lewis, bentalls, woolworths, the entertainer)! Went there this morning.

In fact, I got an email from Mattel this morning (as I had complained about the low stock) and they said they have a shipment coming in specifically for Argos in the next week or so but they don't have any specific dates so this may be your best bet.

We have a few friends overseas (specifically one in the US) who are coming here for Xmas time so I'm going to try and rope them in to getting us one from there (that's if the whole of the US hasn't cottoned on and is trying to sell them on UK ebay by then!).

Santabops, we are not too far from Kingston - best way to get in at this time of year is to go in on the train and out on the bus (if you are near Hampton station). If not, come and park at Teddington or Hampton Wick (free parking on nearby roads) and take the train from there (and miss all the traffic).

Dd isn't completely sold on the pegasus head but I love a challenge anyway . I refuse to pay twice the price on ebay especially when people come up with feeble 'duplicate gift' when they've been trawling the stores and grabbing all the last ones!

If anyone is really desperate, I have seen them in Carrefour, I do live in Spain but if you are really desperate, I could buy one and post it for you. It was about 50€ so about 40ish pounds.

Got Dh to check she had got it as I knew they would sell out, the way everyone was talking about wanting it. "Oh, yes" she says, "no problem"

Now in an email she has admitted that she couldn?t find one so has bought a large "girl?s world" type head thing (only cheaper make if I know her). I am livid. I could have bought it for her but chose to trust bloody mil - how stupid am I? (don?t answer!) She even had the nerve to say to Dh that she thought a girl?s head was much nicer than a horses head anyway - fo rher perhaps, but not for a 4 year old who is in love with horses and Barbies.

Poor DD1. At least I have got her the Brietta doll with light up crown thingie. DD1 is so good, never asks for loads and loads. Oh well, I just hope that the witch has the decency to look guilty when DD1?s little face drops a mile as DD1 is aware of what her Granny had promised to buy her.

I saw a fellow Mnetter today who herself and the rest of her family have been on the hunt for a pegasus head.

She's told me today that she finally got one from Argos. She found it on the net at a local store and reserved it straight away. When she went to pick it up the store assistant said that they get 2 or 3 in on some deliveries so the best way is to keep checking their site and reserve straight away.
