honestly, that bloody cot... she hates it so spends half her time in with us...

i've looked online and on freecycle etc, all the cheapo places just seem a bit suspicious to me, but how long will they use them for anyway?

they really have you over a barrel with the mattresses, don't they? how fucking expensive can kapok be?

thanks all, so very much. i am going to sit on some mattresses this weekend at my nearest archers sleep centre (which i now realise is about five mins away Blush and try to beat them down to one of your prices, mammy and minnie and crispy et al. thanks so much, really, my head was absolutely melted before i posted, have been trying to attend to this for weeks...

I got the matching set of drawers as well, chest of drawers not the underbed ones. They are huge but very nice. I looked for ages before deciding, because they seemed to be either £8-900 for nice ones, or cheap and nasty looking. And I am a bit fussy!

what, archers is the same as your internet sites? that would be ideal for me...

i am not that fussy, but slightly fussier than the loon who suggested i put sparkly stickers on the black ikea ones... Wink

Oh no, rooms you love had a 20% discount day last week Sad. If you can wait a bit, they seem to do them quite regularly

HuckingFell · 08/09/2010 22:52

duh! the links i posted at 22.18 are archers...

moaningminniewhingesagain · 08/09/2010 22:59

Whoops no, it was heymammys link from ebay that is the same supplier as mine.

Aitch · 08/09/2010 23:00

bummer about the discount. although i may phone and haggle, of course.

are you duh-ing me, hucking? i know they're archers, i'm jsust getting confused about whose supplier is the same. best case scenario is that archers are run by the chester lot so i can get them to match best internet offer, iyswim?

i feel your bunk bed pain.

moaningminniewhingesagain · 08/09/2010 23:03

But the Chester one delivers to Scotland so no probs there? But I imagine you would want to have a look at them in the flesh ideally. I partly chose them because they are vaguely in my vicinity so near enough if there was any problems.

Aitch · 08/09/2010 23:06

well i ahven't actually measured yet, hucking... Grin that will be the next trauma.
and yes, i think i should go and sit on some beds, basically. thanks so much to all of you, i am profoundly grateful.
