Despite the slightly suggestive title. I'm just wondering how long people are having sex for.

My current FWB's average is about 4 hours. NOW that is with breaks sometimes little breathers of a minute or two and sometimes longer like half and hour or an hour then start again. He either doesn't finish at all or it takes a long time.

I realise from talking to my IRL friends that that is a LONG time and definitely a problem for him..He is circumcised so needs a lot of stimulation/focus for it to happen. Constant significant stimulation for about 15 minutes at the end.

So I was wondering what a typical FULL session from start to finish would be for you? AND any suggestions to help me cut the time down?

4 hours is a very long time!

A typical session would probably be about an hour - including foreplay, sometimes if its just a quickie in the morning about 10-15 mins or at the weekend then proabbaly longer than an hour - it depends how horny I am and how long he can wait !

If you're talking 4 hours penetration then even with little breaks god I would be crying a the end of that!

4 hours! I can't imagine! DH is circumcised too, but you only have to look at him and he's halfway there! ( that's not a complaint, he's wonderful, but a walking, talking, constantly hyper erogenous zone).

About an hour with new DP (including foreplay). Ex DP about 15 minutes (he didn't know what foreplay was though)

Yes foreplay is all included in the hour count... I may be over estimating actual penetration time, I'll have to get a stopwatch out.

It's exhausting. Still incredibly enjoyable... but towards the end I'm starting to be in a fair amount of pain.

The quickest quickie we've ever had was 15 minutes. VERY rare. Also he is a FWB so I don't want him coming all the way over for 15 mins...

Do any of you try to make it last longer/finish quicker? basically are you happy with the time?

including foreplay, possibly 30 minutes for a quickie and 1.5 hours for a more relaxed session. Does it matter though? Just like frequency of sex, what matters is that both partners are getting what they need/want out of it.

Actual penetration in our house lasts a minute tops! Not ideal either but we make the best of everything else that goes along with it.

OP- that doesn't sound very enjoyable, especially being in pain and worrying of it's only 15 mins.

God how tiresome. I couldn't be doing with that AT ALL.

I have a FWB (maybe a bit more) sometimes we have mammoth sessions (with him resting and going again in between which can last hours but its not all penetration). Sometimes I have to stop mid session just to regroup as it is very intense. Sometimes we eat, rest, chat and start again! I have found, lights off he is much quicker in reaching orgasm for him. So if its going on a bit long, I turn off the lights!

Its very very good at the moment, and I guess if we were together all the time it would peter out. 4 hours sounds a long time. Try with the lights off, see if it hastens things ;) My FWB gets easily put off his vibe, so with the lights off he is able to reach orgasm quicker, if you know what I mean but he enjoys the journey as do I :)

I would never have time to fit in 4 hours of sex! I'd say about 30 mins to an hour is our average.

pudding that sounds pretty much like what this is. I've known him since I was very young and just been off and on between boyfriends. So I knew what I was getting in to!

The lights off thing is Definitely a no go, he's very visual. good tip though. I personally like taking away a sense. Perhaps I'll crack out my blindfold next time.

It's a fine line. On the one hand, he is fabulous in bed, was the first man I orgasmed with and we fit together well in that respect :). I also am very turned on and attracted to him.

But it's too long. He has a lot of force behind him and I have been to hospital twice after injuries. can't really work out if it's worth it.

4 hours?! Hospital injuries?! Sheesh, I clearly haven't lived!!

Injuries? Oh my. Sometimes less is more ( in thrustage terms). You may need to take him in hand and teach him that. Seriously though, that could get very tiresome eventually.
