DH... Anal sex... don't read if sensitive

So... Been with DH for over 30 years, married for most of them. We have never spoken about anal sex, not even to discuss respective thoughts about it. Suddenly during sex recently he asked if he could .... I said no and he respected that. But he also told me he had done and enjoyed that in the past. Am shocked he has kept this from me for so long. I won't change my mind on that but now think he thinks that I've denied him something he's enjoyed for so long and feel in a way that I don't really know him. So weird after all this time. Thoughts?

Hi OP maybe you are over analysing this (excuse the pun). No matter how he has go thinking about it, whether he's read something, or just reminiscing, he asked, you said no and that's that. If he's been a good husband to you over the years and respects your wish not to indulge, then what's the harm? The old boy chanced his arm, got knocked back and presumably respects your decision.

I find more and more that I muse on what life is going to offer in my final 30 years (if I'm lucky)

Mostly I spend my time fantasising about where DH and I are going to travel, or what my children will have achieved, rather than fumbling around in bed while DH tries to stuff his penis up my bottom.

20-30 minutes of fisting

Mdocman....thank you, everything you write is true. Overreaction on my part I think, was just a bit of a shock. I am going to leave this thread now. Thanks to all who posted

"The old boy chanced his arm, got knocked back and presumably respects your decision."

Do you really think that's the way you want to think/ talk about an adult life partner?

Not being interested in anal sex wouldn't make you a prude op.
