Sexless not arches!!

tethersend · 07/12/2015 16:49

Have fun, OP- I'm not going to piss on your fireworks.

You'll probably get to do that yourself Wink

IHeartSwinging · 07/12/2015 16:54

I've name changed for this as I've posted potentially identifying info under my normal name. Sorry for the silly name, but I found it amusing. Blush

Have fun OP! I looked into doing this with an ex-partner and we're young and attractive. We split up before we had the chance to do it which I was a bit disappointed about Blush. I most likely would have stuck to having sex with women to be honest though. A lot of it was morbid curiosity and I have heard from others on the scene there's no pressure to participate. So you can just sit and eat your sausage and enjoy the view. Grin

I think you have to have a very strong relationship to do this kind of thing which it sounds like you have. I wouldn't do it in every relationship - there's some guys I've been with where I shudder at the thought of it. The reason I considered it was because I really trusted him.

And I think more people do this than people realise. It's just not talked about because it gets reactions like the ones on here or people think you're perverts. Am loving some of the comments though, especially the ones about just getting a DVD and some karoke instead. Hilarious Grin. And the pubes in the punch, ewwww.

LaurieFairyCake · 07/12/2015 16:58

That makes sense that the club pay for prostituted women to attend. Bet they don't tell people that.

cleaty · 07/12/2015 17:02

The options are not a sexless marriage, an affair or going to swinging parties. Lots of us have good sex lives in a monogamous relationship.

Destinysdaughter · 07/12/2015 17:03

There is a difference between a genuine swingers club where women go for the reasons I outlined above and clubs where the women are paid. They do exist but they are completely different and most genuine swingers wouldn't go there. Married men do tho...

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 07/12/2015 17:06

I wonder whether the husbands would agree lol

mowglik · 07/12/2015 18:23

I dont know why but the thought of OP and her OH returning home to the kids after depresses me Sad

And wouldn't you worry about passing on diseases to your kids - not things like HIV but bacterial infections like strep throat or HSV. Sorry to be a prude on the sex board (was on AIBU when I clicked on it) but its ridiculously irresponsible imo

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 07/12/2015 18:28

op south west you say? would love to know where, can you PM me? I had assumed elsewhere.

suzannecaravaggio · 07/12/2015 18:31

And wouldn't you worry about passing on diseases to your kids

I think it might strengthen your immune system, getting up close and personal to exchange microorganisms with random strangers?

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 07/12/2015 18:35

actually people in swingers clubs are probably more conscious of being safe than folk having ONS and numerous partners as singles.

Helmetbymidnight · 07/12/2015 18:42

it's the buffet that puts me off- you just know that someone with a cold will have been fingering the pork balls just before you arrived.

Sparklingbrook · 07/12/2015 18:43

I think a packed lunch would be sensible. With maybe an energy bar for the interval/half time.

AnyoneButSanta · 07/12/2015 18:46

The majority of the women on this thread will have HSV and HPV already unless they're actually asexual.

SurferJet · 07/12/2015 18:55

What's HPV & HSV?

AnyFucker · 07/12/2015 18:57

How unlike the home life of our own dear Laqueen 😁

AnyoneButSanta · 07/12/2015 18:58

Herpes Simplex Virus and Human Papilloma Virus. You'd be very likely to catch them at a swingers' club except that we've most of us got them already...

goodcompany2 · 07/12/2015 18:58

Just told BF about the plans put into place and he laughed and said he's delighted. Not getting any younger and it's nice to have a party to look forward to.

Give it a year or two more and it'll be Jools Holland for us-enjoying it whilst we can. Buffets can be a dodgy affair anywhere so will maybe give it a miss. Having said that, I love a greasy kebab after a night out so I have an iron constitution!

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes most are very safety conscious and others not. Think if you're going to be sexually active then always assume everyone is a risk! That goes for new relationships, dodgy suspicious acting spouses and ONS.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 07/12/2015 18:59

I think the worries about the pork balls being prefingered by scuzzy hands is the same for any buffet, isn't it

Same reason I never eat the nuts on the bar even in the posher establishments I frequent 😄

goodcompany2 · 07/12/2015 19:00

AF Who's Laqueen?

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 07/12/2015 19:00

BF didn't know? Shock

I hope DH the only tickets DH produces this Christmas are Panto ones.

AnyFucker · 07/12/2015 19:02

Op, Laqueen is a poster who used to be on here a lot.

goodcompany2 · 07/12/2015 19:05

We'd planned getting around to planning IYSWIM but hadn't done more than have the "what do you want to do? I dunno. "What you wanna do?" Conversation.
We knew what we wanted to do but hadn't worked out where yet! LOL
