IME they are very friendly places where the women hold the power and are respected. There are all sorts of people, a real cross section of society. People are happy to chat to you and go as much for the social side as the sex. There's a very happy atmosphere and people tend to be relaxed and polite. If it's not your thing fine, but your assumptions are just that and the OP doesn't deserve your judgements for doing something she and her partner clearly enjoy together and is totally consensual.

The reason I mentioned STDs is because it stands to reason that people who frequent swinging clubs are likely to be sleeping with lots of people outside of their usual partner. Higher number of partners = more risk of having an STD, no?

We know that men are prepared to pay a lot of £££ for access to women who are up for nsa sex with strangers (otherwise prostitutes wouldn't make much of a living)

letting women in free would maximise the female attendance and attract more men since they'd be buying access to a wider pool of women.

Normally the rules state that men have to have partners but women can come alone. I suppose there is scope for some of those 'partners' to actually be escorts but I would suspect not, more likely a percentage of them might be mistresses who are being paid by proxy.

Single women do get to go free, makes sense. A lot of couples and women that that go are bisexual, some women have partners that enjoy seeing their partner with others, some just enjoy being in a sensual erotic environment. I'm single but a lot of couples are very committed to each other and find it heightens their sexual excitement. Much more honest than having an affair and more fun than a arches marriage, sat at home watching TV at night. I know I'll never convince people on here but I do try.
